  • On a chilly November morning, we boarded the Cessna Grand Caravan. The turbo props quickly climbed to 14,000 feet. At altitude, I heard someone say it was too cloudy to jump. For a second I forgot that I was licensed now, until the door opened, and I was told to get out. Since, students weren't jumping, one of the instructors came out with me.
I didn't know he was filming.
I didn't do much; I was practicing turns and stability, and I'm working towards better dive exits and canopy control. However, on this jump I was getting stabbed in the face with ice pellets at 120mph in sub zero temperatures. I loved it.
This is NOT an instructional video. I tend to look down! I am working on it. I should be looking up to the horizon, but I am still at the tourism stage of sky diving. I love to take in the beautiful countryside. Looking UP helps with stability and control.
Still, I like seeing myself jump. Enjoy!
