Your comment about Jack daniels was hilarious. I used to drink jack when I was younger and could drink it any time. But me and jack had a big fight with each other and now I can't even smell it without getting sick to my stomach. That's hilarious that you mentioned that. And no, I don't have any anger at not being able to drink it, nor do I sit there and try to push this against anyone who likes Jack, it's just a personal aversion to me. If you like it, that's you. The only people who hate Tom MacDonald are the ones who aren’t truly listening.
Seriously it is a centrist/majority view on most of it. I disagree on some details, but he is also needing to rhyme stuff so I don't get hung up on the details. Most if it is so normal that we should recognize how unifying it is. Although a lot of people hate centrists because they don't want to get questioned and have to think.
They tend to be the racist when they look in the mirror. They tend not to understand and think it's normal for a man grow boobs but hey I don't care what you do as long as it doesn't affect me.
There are two groups of people who hate Tom MacDonald.
1.) Those who think Facts & Truth are alternative opinions which attack their own
2.) Those who know he's right; But they'd rather instigate the chaos than resolve it

There is a difference between hate speech and speech that you hate. I might hate what you have to say but imma fight for your right to say it. Dividing opinions help us see different perspectives but it seems like the left wants us all to think the same. That's not perspective that's conforming. People promise utopia but in reality. Critically thinking about said utopia shows that it is more of a dystopia instead. A nightmarish future.

Enjoyed your commentary. Something you said about black and white drinking fountains reminded me of something that has stuck with me for almost 60. When I was about 7 yrs old I went to get a drink in JC Penney’s in Texas. There was a black lady waiting at the children’s fountain while the adult fountain had no one waiting. I said, “Ma’am you can get a drink from that fountain” and she said, “no, honey, I’m not allowed to drink out of that fountain.” It made no sense to me. I told my mom and she explained to me that black people were not allowed to drink out of that other fountain. She went on to explain to me how wrong that was, but she really didn’t have to because in my child’s mind I instinctively KNEW how wrong that was. It was such a profound experience that I remember it so clearly all these years later. People don’t want to see it, but we have come a long ways since then.

Additionally any people that had possible symptoms of covid but died from something else (like car accident, murder, suicide etc..) they are labelled as covid deaths. It drives me up the wall. "Died of covid" is including those that did not because the businesses and politicians want more money and dependancy. To keep us afraid and following what they are saying.

Children are naturally color blind. My grandson went to a preschool that had 1 girl from Zimbabwe, 1 boy from Mexico, 1 boy from the Middle East, 1 Chinese girl, and he was the only white child. They hugged and played with each other. Some didn’t speak English and that didn’t stop them from being friends. It was truly amazing. It made me realize that racism is taught to children by adults. If adults stop teaching this (all colors are guilty) it would disappear. It may be a naive way to look at it but it’s really simple solution.
The easiest way to justify harming someone else is to dismiss, dehumanize and otherize them so as to distance yourself to the point where self-reflection is becomes emotionally improbable.

Final thoughts. I appreciate that y'all take the time to talk about the music rather than just listening and "reacting" and then being done with it. Not many! There are too many people who think they're great. The get awards and the money. But, they don't talk about anything relative and deep.
There are quite a few independent artists that are doing it, but you have to search them out. Upchurch, Bryson Gray, Burden, Adam Calhoun, Struggle Jennings, Jelly Roll, etc.
