My understanding of the mask Tatsu comes with is that it's from his appearances in the comics. He is an amazing figure and I was so happy to complete my 1990 TMNT collection with him!
I'm supposed to be getting Tatsu from a friend as a Christmas gift, definitely needed him for the TMNT movie villains. I can see the legs on him are probably just Foot Soldier legs, I'm assuming the upper body is probably just reuse from the Shadow Warriors pack
Leonardo’s shell has been recolored to a brighter yellow underneath compared to the original releases being very dingy colored. The original releases definitely look more film accurate. Aside from that his bandana is a darker blue this time around as well. Good option though for those who never bought these first go around
Movie concept figures could be fun like the April in yellow jumpsuit they teased or a Jim Henson style Rocksteady and Beebop or Baxter or Rat King. Just have fun with it.
I think we are rumored to get some kind of Larid and Eastman 2-pack, and NECA also revealed April in a yellow jumpsuit variant based on her cartoon look. Tatsu is incredible. Also my Walmart just restocked him so now there's literally about 20 when it took months to sell the initial 3 when he came out. I debated on getting the other 2 packs just for either world building or for backups. Such as my original Leonardo took a shelf dive and broke his katana so I had to glue them back, so getting a backup set seems appealing. I did get Casey with his bike mostly so i can give the bike to John Connor, who looks great on it. I debated pairing the bike with my lootcrate Danny but ultimately decided on John. I have accidentally gotten all Casey Jones so far. I got the Raph in disguise 2-pack which marked my first ever NECA movie Turtle. I got the solo Ultimate release so I got more accessories and the optional unmasked likeness, and then I got the farmhouse 2-pack for all of those accessories and the new April cus the previous release has had trouble standing. And now I have this dirt bike Casey... I REALLY wanted that garbage man Kevin Eastman but it was impossible to get on the website and I didn't know anybody going to NYCC, similarly I missed Keno with his bike at SDCC for the same reasons. I'm just hoping that if I get battle damage Leo that we somehow get the other brothers. I am disappointed we didn't get an alt head with Leo gritting his teeth cartoonishly like from the movie when Shredder has him dead to rights pinned to the ground.
Toyshiz, I was able to find Tatsu in store. There were a couple so I was able to check for qc issues. I think I left with the best one..he will probably be the swansong purchase for the TMNT movie line for me.🙏 To Tatsu for being part of the community. Some possible releases could be charles pennington,April's boss,chief sterns,the dominos pizza guy,and keno in his donatello custome because he was cory Feldman's double in the first film.and maybe a bunch of the kids at the foot clan's hideout.especially the girl blowing bubble gum.they should release a diorama for the foot clan hideout too.

Does Leo not have a new head? I think the previous release was more neutral. The bike with Casey is John Connor's, I think.
