The real power of music and ballads is that it sparks off inquiry and enables people to read up on issues and events mentioned in songs. This is a powerful way of passing on a nations or a movements ideals and objectives. This is something that the Irish Republican movement, despite all its detractors, knows only too well.
One has only to see the money spent by corporate advertisers and military formations to realise the sheer power of music to elicit passion and call to action in people.

That was Great, I saw you in the states well because that's the only place I've ever been other than Canada, Which worked out for me that time had I been off galavanting around the World I would have missed him when he came by. It really is the best system for catching live music. to have the band or artist do the traveling around and we just sit on our asses and fuss about how long it took to get to us. I'm actually very impressed with Your personal music. I only learned about you from Mermaid Ave. Which you were great on and I actually meant to get some of your music as I usually do. But I really think you up there with so many greats.
