Brilliant mind. I got to witness Greg here in the arkie division for two seasons before he ran up that ladder to full time. Never got to draw out with him but I was 16 just getting started around '99, ,00 and remember seeing him at the Redman, bfl, and Mr. Bass of Arkansas weigh ins. Always was getting paid. I remember telling my dad "That's Greg Hackney and he's the best in the state"! It was obvious then even to a young kid how good this guy is!
The networking issue is frustrating all the way down to a club angler level. All these guys have buddies that help out and they trade secrets. It used to be a proper sport. I don’t understand the angry mob over FFS(which I don’t own) and no issue with someone gatekeeping a 7lb bass for someone else.
I think the guys teaming up and sharing waypoints and bait colors and even casting angles and other info is complete BS! I can't even believe what I've been seeing. I thought this was an individual sport and sharing that information was cheating!?
One of the Best Ever at Playing the Game and Breaking it Down. Love to Hear Hackney Talk Fishing!
Greg ‘Yunnowateyemeen’ Hackney has always been one of my favorites. Great show
Love this guy ! He's so smart ! Tight lines Greg !
Hey guys. First time viewer. Crazy how Hackney is my favorite angler, and I just happened to click in today.
So want to see him win a Classic. Awesome angler and an even better dude!
I too watched Aaron win that event on the east coast. Good times.

The Harris Chain is not a tidal fishery. Greg had a top ten on the St. John’s River in Palatka Fl.
Correct. That was clarified in the show.
You're almost as smart as you think you are bud
