Still wishing to have a date with Bill going for a char dog at Wolfies after a Cubs game. I’m 57 and have lived in Chicago since 1985. How about it , Bill ?
Bill Murray hanging out with some French tourists sounds like one of those many random Bill Murray stories except this time, it was recorded on camera. Lol.
Those French students had no idea Eli is a future Hall of Fame 2xSBMVP, and he was totally fine with it. His humility, for someone so accomplished has always amazed me. This was a great episode. Eli has a way of just hanging out with his guests while interviewing them. That’s not easy to do.
do you know the greatest french wine maker? lol all that 2xsbmvp american football means close to diddly for people from other countries. But i agree, he nailed this and was one of the best lights ive seen murray under in a while.
Eli was so stoic when he was playing the game, and towards the end of his career, in his media and ad campaigns he came across the same way. What makes his show so good is how relaxed he is, how talkative he is, and he seems to be having lots of fun. I like this side of Eli, I really do.
I don't think people understand how remarkable this is. It's amazing how Eli Manning gets these huge stars to just relax and truly be themselves in front of a camera. You never get this on talk shows. But this show is amazing to see Bill Murray just be himself. Plus I think it's probably one of the very rare moments where the guest actually are more excited to be hanging out with the host. Usually it's the other way around.
It’s funny cause Bill Murray normally doesn’t do stuff like this. Has no agent, either give him a part or don’t. If you offer him a part then he lets you know his answer by showing up to set on the day of shooting. So for him to do this is pretty remarkable.
Eli didn't do anything to get Bill to relax. That's Bill's way of life. Just a great guy passing out a great experience to everyone he meets, including Eli.
Met Eli ay the pier that day (see me creepin at 10:30 lol)...completely was caught of guard but ended up having a pen and paper and got his autograph! He was super nice when I couldn't hold it together 🤣 thanks Eli!
I imagine this is the first time Bill has been interviewed by someone who both 1. has seen every single one of his movies and 2. conducts the interview at times with a mouth full of food.
This interview is the most I've ever seen Eli being comfortable and natural. I think it's because Eli was a lifelong fan of Bill Murray and his work, growing up watching his movies. I also think it's because Bill Murray has this amazing talent of being able to be in the moment, appreciate everything and everyone around you, and make the best out of every situation. I really believe that kind of energy effects everyone around you. Murray is a master at "mindfulness", a Buddhist teaching that says, don't lament the past, don't worry about the future, just live, right here and right now, appreciate what is in front of you, that's what is important
@@Nautilus1972 Taking down the Patriots on the biggest stage twice, makes you a legend. Yes he wasn't that great of a QB, but to be a legend is to step up and be super in a moment that calls for it.
If I had it in me I would make both of them 19 years old again. But in the real world it’s been a pleasure to be entertained by them for all these years. 😎
I remember seeing stripes and ghostbusters in New York City in the 80’s and hearing Eli ask him all these questions is epic on legendary proportions. Bill Murray is godly 😊
I was smiling thorough this whole show. Bill is such a gem. Imagine you see a very famous person on the street. How many will stop and show interest? Not many.
It amazes me how ELI is just so down to earth and makes everyone around him the same and BILL seemed so genuinely happy to make others feel good about meeting a celebrity they both seemed to appreciate the life they have good to see to kind hearted people hanging and just enjoying life
As an Eagles fan, Eli's always been a thorn in the side. SInce seeing the MNF thing with Peyton, I've run into this series, and his little Chad Powers stunt and I'm transfixed. I really enjoy the things he's doing. Even with that, though, this episode just proves how magnificent Bill Murray is. Keep going Eli, Murray is a Presidential Medal of Freedom winner, and you were step for step with him until he broke out the French. Good stuff.

Is that what the women said
He's aged like fine wine!
Bill Murray hanging out with some French tourists sounds like one of those many random Bill Murray stories except this time, it was recorded on camera. Lol.
Like how he had an extra ticket to Cubs-Indians game 7 World Series and offered it to a random fan outside the stadium and they sat together.
Eli's show is light years better than the Giants season.

The French don't know or care about the NFL. Americans wouldn''t recognize any French athletes either, except Andre the Giant.
Why would they? What French chick watches American football? If they know any American football player, it would most likely be the goat Tom Brady.
