Did you know that the Demoknight's shield resistances stack with the MvM resistances? Only bullets hurt him the most because the shield lacks bullet resistance, but it'll still take a lot to kill him. And if he's overhealed by a medic, he is essentially unkillable.

Up until last night, I had exclusively played community MVM for almost 2 months. It honestly changed my brain and coming back to normal TF2 feels WEIRD. I keep wondering why am I so slow, why can't I shoot fast, why don't I have a shield, why is my sentry so weak, etc. I miss the upgrade station and it made me wonder what normal gameplay would be like with upgrades (answer: broken as heck). So thanks for satisfying my curiosity!

Demoknight eats heavies Earlygame, but from what i played i think demoknight dramatically loses its potency late game since while it has the liberty to use uber canteens so does everyone else so if everyone can just buffer or stall the demo out you can force a retreat or him stalling you since surviving against a super class for couple seconds is really dangerous. But this theory is flawed in a team v team senario and has to be taken with a mountain of salt, as the kunai's existence proves that it's team effort and awareness to not feed and cause chain reaction, which in a pub is practically impossible.
I still do put demoknight in A tier, for how centralizing he is especially late game where some classes become free heads since they stand no chance to fight back. But i feel that there's some potential in some classes to counter/outshine demoknight.
@@ToastyJakey I think it could be dependent on how much money people have since when shounic did it the sentries just gained health too fast. And it looks like in your test people had a lot of money from the start but I might be wrong

man, what about a map like Dota for TF2, with 3 lanes, towers defending those lanes, robots for both teams as minions that drop money for upgrades and shield you from the towers projectiles, and when a team reaches the other team's base, they have to push a payload back to their base?
Tbh the money should be earned 20 cash per killed enemy, with a 3s safe protection for the killer from any grabby teammate, +10 cash to any assist, medic, or engineer dispenser healing them when collected. Passive 10 cash per minute (ramps up everyone's firepower as the game stalemates) A $500 neutral intel at the middle of the map spawning every 3-5minutes, meant to break stalemates by having them fight to improve some of their team, giving the carry, support and anyone that stood closest to them in the past 2 minutes Grabbing the intel gives 1000 cash similarly Cash isn't secured, you need to get back to the shop else your collected money will be dropped on the floor when you die, but your insecured money will also be saved over time, at a rate of 20/minute, so you don't always have to backtrack, but it allows people to steal whatever fresh money you collected killing an opponent by revenge killing you fast enough Aand maybe a 20s max money lifetime to make some players compromise themselves to collect some cash that dropped somewhere risky Basically allows teammates to steal from each other but is limited fairly, as you get separate money pools, also incentivizing assisting
Something that confuses me is, whenever someone adds MvM upgrades to the rest of TF2, while the expected disabling of the gass passer, the other MvM god strategies seem to go completely ignored. The sniper with the Bizarre Bargain or Hitman's Heatmaker and the demo with the Scottish Resistance, is understandable because how those strategies may fall apart when against targets that can think when fighting back.
