All i’m saying is, that was not the Boogyman, Paro didn’t do nun differently besides hug over 10+ times, No lie Subriel had him one round, at the end of a round you see paro breathing hard with watery eyes walking exhausted to corner and that’s when i thought Matias got him, but the unthinkable happened, Matias slowed the paste and didn’t apply that pressure. Paro Did what he had to do but something was forsure up with Matias 💯
Also Matias was very happy for his opponent after hearing the decision. At one point, he was jumping up and down, pumping his fists in the air like he had somehow achieved something. I have never seen someone that happy after a loss.

One think I didn’t like for couples of weeks before the fight he was saying that Hearns was doing something that favored Paro would have win and take his title from him, Subriel was acting up arrogant coming to the ring dancing and singing for more than 10 minutes, then he didn’t do anything until 6 rounds, just walking not throwing punches and he did looked windy after the 8th round, never cut the ring off, then complaining to the ref about Paro instead of taking charge as the boogeyman that he showed for most of his career, then saying I never have a plan and I don’t listened to my corner I do what I want to, but m the one fighting, that’s is no a good sign for a fighter who wants to face the Elite of his division. He was not even close of the Matias we know, something is fishy here and only Matias can respond to that. Also how come as him been the champion there were not rematch clause? I don’t want to discredit Paro but if the old Matias that we know was shown that night Paro wouldn’t make it pass the 6 rounds. I’m mad with Subriel cause this was his ticket for the greatness fighting for the first time leading a PPV event, defending his title at home with the support of the great Puertorricans fans and he just blew it. Forget it about Prograis he is not going to fight Subriel in a risky fight if there is not title involved, Prograis is going after Paro or Sándor Martin. I hope that Subriel apologized to Panda and his team and get out of PR and make his career in the USA and come back making adjustments and improving his game to conquer the 140 division.

I don’t think he took a dive. Too much Puerto Rican Pride in our blood for that!!! I think Matias wanted to look vulnerable and beatable to try to lure in the same top tier fighters that have been avoiding him in the past. In other words he was trying to bait them in but it back fired at the end. He should have gone for the kill from square one. This is my theory and it’s probably a good one. Remember that nobody wanted to face the boogeyman. Not the mandatories less the current so called champions. He had to make it appealing for the rest of the division but things got out of hand and now it was too late to play catch up. Matias never got hurt. Paro had nothing and did nothing special. Matias did it to himself.

@@UnknownUnknown-vv6hb he might be older but has shown more stamina and determination in recent fights than the youngins and at the division including the current champs. You don’t age drastically from one fight to another. It progressively catches up. Paro never hurt Matias or did anything at any point to cause a slowdown on the Boogieman. Matias was his worst enemy that night. I’m sure there is Matias for at least 3 or 4 more years if he gets back on track.
the only explanation is not having wind for subriel not to let his hands go. it doesn't make sense. it makes sense that's how you would fight if it was fixed, you pull your power back.

I was there and saw that this was all fixed out. The referee told Paro about the holding in round 11th that's a crazy sign and not just that Matias was in front of him and didn't throw punches. If you go and see the post conference when he said that all wants is to go home and get his wife pregnant. Bro, those are signs that he was so happy for that paycheck that he will have another baby. Plus, he was smiling like he won the fight. He wasn't intense at all he even stood in front of Paro and did nothing. Everyone in the crowd was going mad crazy like wtf why don't you throw punches.

Nobody is hurt lol the issue is Matias does have the engine and can fight off the clinch very well that's why there's questions Paro didn't hurt him like Ryan hurt Haney Paro was mostly clinching and hitting behind the head and the fact that Matias didn't retaliate to that is insane Paro went to the hospital after Matias threw 50% of what he does and still had Paro head snapping back Matias definitely could have finished the job the rematch will tell all
