    Their enslaved ancestors were smuggled into Alabama in 1860, long after the United States had banned the import of slaves. The smugglers burned the ship to hide their crime, and for more than 150 years, the ship's remains lay on the bottom of the Mobile River. The community of Africatown, founded by slaves brought by the Clotilda, grew up nearby.

I just dont get their logic. America had 900k enslaved Africans. The island of Jamaica had double that of the USA., Brazil had the largest slave port, yet they actually subscribe to their only being 40 people brought from Africa. I find it rather sad. Mix the false teachings of the Bible with BS Eurocentric history and you got yourself a brainwashed black Christian. But if you read and study the Bible closely and do your own research into ancient history, all of a sudden Christianity becomes the biggest lie propagated on African people! The Bible is OURS and we must read and understand the word of God and Europeans will be sent packing along with their false Christ they got the world foolishly worshipping! Black Christians are stubborn mental slaves and don’t know the difference between religion and the truth!

      @Cougars & Tigers Removing statues of known traitors is different than searching for a ship that likely carried the ancestors said traitors wanted to keep in chains.

      Why though? If no one was taught that their ancestors were enslaved or that certain things happened, you could literally start over with a fresh slate with the new generation. Think about race relations being 100x better over night ,simply because you let the past die.

    IncrIncredibly interesting. I can also relate. I too am excited to learn about who my ancestors were & where the family came from. Those to things are something anyone can be excited about. And then to have proof & hold it in your hand is way awesome. I wish you all well.
    Wouldn't mind visiting some day. Also interesting to note: while the homes may all be humble, one can see the church is in good shape & well kept up.
    That says a lot in & of itself.

      Does this mean that all Black Americans come from Africa? One story of someone's lineage doesn't pertain to all Black Americans.
      Do your OWN history. I'm indigenous to America, we didn't come from Africa. I can trace my lineage, can you?

    • @greenlight8819
      @greenlight8819 5 років тому +4

      Unity Aborigine Love no it doesn’t, but it doesn’t mean that the vast majority of black Americans here today were just already here “for millions of years”, either, especially when there is scant if any information to even suggest that being remotely true. You are gonna have to pull up some serious historical records that hold up to scrutiny if you want anyone to take this neo-aboriginal movement seriously. Until then, I’ll keep to my skepticism of it. People like you and Dane Calloway are extremely dangerous to blacks by selling them a lineage narrative that hasn’t thoroughly been studied.
