We both each got two different Master's Degrees and each two different Doctorates. We supported each other. We're graduate and doctoral university professors.

Context does make a great deal of difference in whether a kiss works or not, and some of these work, much better, in context than out of it. Of these, I would fall more into the Heartstopper and Love, Simon range, which are I think both terrific examples of first kisses. I really think you should look into some kisses in Thai BL shows, especially Pat and Pran’s kiss at the end of episode 5 of Bad Buddy and Ray and Sand’s smoky kiss in episode 2 of Only Friends.
My favorite was Broke Back Mountain actually, that one had me emotional while watching the video. I had to pause it to take a breath. It reminded me of the kind of love I want in a relationship, some making out but lots of cuddling. That may not be y’all’s thing but that’s just me.

The movie is “Boys” from 2014 also known as “Jongens” in the Netherlands . Definitely MY favorite kissing scene and my favorite gay coming of age movie.

Heartstopper. Brings me back to what lead me to realize that I was gay. No, not a kiss like in this movie but rather a hand on my leg by a friend of colleague while in front of him and then realizing a week later that that colleague was gay and I feel those exact vibes here in this movie. I will go on that six months later I had my first gay kiss on date and nothing had ever felt so good. That was a long time ago. I will add that a few years ago I had a chance to hug some random friends and that was a very close second up. I will also recommend Stayce's Brother by MadTsia although it is just a music video. But still, that is like it does not get any better than that. Always puts tears in my eyes.

The second part of the first kiss between Nick and Charlie is the part that actually shows the freeing moment Austin was talking about. The first part of the kiss still feels kind of nervous and doubtful. One of the best kissing scenes I've seen.

Even with the cheering crowd on the ground, it is warm and fuzzy for me. Heartstopper is warm and fuzzy in general. Sorry to be an ole timer, but the kiss in Maurice was the best and most erotic also the most pregnant moment and the use of a kiss a gay a great one at that, it had spit and everything. Lol all i learned is watching just the kissing scene from a movie is slightly uncomfortable
9:16 lol. you really need to watch the full movie to get the context to appreciate what a monumental scene that is. It’s not about being a cute or sexy scene and isn’t meant to be. These are men who wanted to be together and had an intense bond and connection but felt the pressure to hide themselves deny it, and you see that fear or hesitation in that scene until they finally give in. Especially Heath Ledgers character. it’s not cute it’s intense and raw. I’m convinced this movie saved me a life of heartache. I saw it when I was 16 in the theatres, I was in the closet and convinced i would just hide who i am and try to change. This movie opened my eyes, because i did not want the misery and shame they felt which literally destroyed them and so many of their loved ones by denying who they were and what they wanted in life due to outside social pressures. After watching this, I came out in college 4 years later and by chance met the love of my life. We’ve been together 15 years now.

The whole of season 3 of SKAM was teriffic, but that church scene at the end of episode 9 was something else and I just cannot watch that without bawling my eyes out. It had a HUGE impact on the viewing public worldwide. So much so that that particular scene was voted the best TV scene from ANY show for that year.
