Love that song. Im a police officers daughter, im so proud of my father's career. He taught me MLK Jr's take on life, judge on character not race. He was respectful even after you weren't, and in 36 yrs, he only shot his gun twice, warning shot and one tire, never at anyone. I also dont care what race you are, you best not spit at his face. 😊 God loves his PEOPLE not colors and i feel the same way. Unity is all about love and respect!!
I just love the way you understand. I am Cherokee, and was raised in a small town, and basically, in Our small town, we are one unit. We take care of each other. It doesn’t matter your color. It is about human’s doing the right thing. No one will burn a flag in my town. No one will disrespect elderly people, and We sure won’t let looters come in and tear down or places to eat, shop, and. Buy groceries! I find this song basically a call for unity. Take care of each other.

It is pathetic and sad we are getting further (CRT actually peddling and stoking Racism) away from MLKjrs "Content Of Character" Dream (things are REGRESSING, NOT PROGRESSING right now - Racism is TAUGHT not in DNA, people need to stop projecting that sh** onto our Children that don't have those issues until INDOCTRINATED into it)! JLenardDetroit, Host: ChristiTutionalist (TM) Politics podcast (UA-cam, Rumble, Buzzsprout, Spotify, iHeart, TuneIn, more) And in my TERROR STRIKES: COMING SOON TO A CITY NEAR YOU book I go out of my way to AVOID any mention of Color for ANY CHARACTER and instead let peoples' own BIAS influence that in their own mind during the read - to then hopefully by the end QUESTION THEIR ASSUMPTIONS (as I mention MLKjr in the book)! Like it says at the bottom of my Terror Strikes info site... "Fair warning - while some Historical aspects are mixed within, this is a Fictional story with Fictional characters. Many deem this book controversial and upsetting in many places, which it is meant to be. Meant to MAKE PEOPLE THINK! Challenge their own and others intentions, motives, own morality and mortality."
I agree with you. I think the people calling this racist are the ones that are actually racist assuming it's about people of color. I'm white as snow but I will stand with my community everyday.
I was born, raised, and still live in a small town. Jason Aldean is speaking to ANYONE, regardless of skin color, who might think they want to bring violence, destruction, chaos, and disrespect to our small town communities. My small town is integrated, as most are around here, and we WILL stand hand in hand, - white, black, yellow, and red, - and we WILL take care of our own ... as well as a stranger that needs a helping hand. You might want to act a fool in the bigger cities but it will not be tolerated around here. And we will NEVER relinquish our second amendment rights. The people calling this racist sure have some mighty racist beliefs of their own to imply and infer that Jason has to referencing black people because they believe only black people commit the crimes. How much more racist can that get?
@Michelle_Crn I couldn't agree with you more! I also live in a small town, we have whites, blacks, Asians, Latino & Native Americans. I stand corrected. We are all AMERICANS, period. We're neighbors, a lot are such good friends they're like family. We don't have a black family down the street & an Indian family on the corner. We have a great family down the street & another great family on the corner. We have, do, & will stand hand in hand to help one another, and I pity the idiot who tries to loot, burn, steal, and destroy lives right along with businesses in this small town. We take care of our own here too, and we don't care what color your skin is. We care about the content of a person's character in these parts!
@@Libbi-ju5ym well said! I was raised in the Missouri Ozarks. The entire small town stepped up when ANY family was in trouble and needed a helping hand. Love the message of the song and video!

Playing baseball and going to school with all races and religions. They don’t understand racism. There is none of that in a small town. My son in law grew up in Memphis and hated it. After marrying my daughter they moved to a small town. He thought he would hate it (thought he wouldn’t be excepted) loves his job, loves how friendly his neighbors are and safe his kids are at school. If you have never lived small town life, you just can’t understand
I was born and raised in Chicago grrrrr hated it for 24 years , then I moved to Decatur Illinois to a smaller town with my daughter and love it And that was 24 years ago lol
There's nothing wrong with peaceful protesting. Jason is taking a stand against criminal behavior. He, like most of us regardless of our skin color, wants to live in a town that is safe from crime and united in protecting our families and loved ones! This is a real sweet song and a real honest review of the song!
@Shaman196Are you like 12? My family protested the opening of a McDonald's in our small town, back when their Styrofoam containers were a serious problem, and there was absolutely no violence of any kind, let alone arson and murder. There aren't peaceful riots, but historically very, very few protests ever lead to riots. The shit you're seeing today are not protests, the kids out there in the streets don't even have anything to protest.
@Shaman196 Here are three definitions of "protest" from the Oxford dictionary. 1. "a statement or action expressing disapproval of or objection to something." 2. "express an objection to what someone has said or done." 3. "declare (something) firmly and emphatically in the face of stated or implied doubt or in response to an accusation." I've not found a dictionary definition anywhere that references physical violence when defining the word, protest. I believe you are thinking about the word, "riot." I too believe that you can protest (show your objection to something) in a peaceful way. When it becomes violent, it is a "riot."
@@MarkMcDaniel They usually start out peaceful, until the sun does down...then all hell breaks out with the looting and burning of buildings. I live in a moderately small town, I won't cross the river to Louisville. However, there are smaller towns that I will not go to because the cops and the meth problem are a thing.
Months ago, pre contraversy, I won tickets to Jason's show. I saw him in concert Friday, 7/28 and was of the only people of color there. I listened to the song before going to the show with my blonde haired blue eyed friend. The more I listen to the song I realize it's not about me and it's a general "F around and find out" statement. FAAFO has no race restriction. PS I had ZERO problems at the show. For our particular show the dj between acts played country, dance, rap, line dancing (Wobble and Cha Cha Slide) songs. At the end of the show after Jason was done the dj palyed "One Love" by Bob Marley.
It’s my overwhelming experience among white people ( I’m old and white) no one wants to hear ugly racist anything. We just want to get along more than anything. We don’t want any limits in our life. Friends are hard to find.
This is about unity and standing for your friends, neighbors , and family. Protecting what you Value and Love. Stay wise and sane my friend. Excellent commentary.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with this song, the only critics are the people trying to divide us. Love and respect, brother, hangover gang Canada 🇨🇦
That sounds like my kind of community. I live in Florida, and it's super segregated down here. The only thing our communities come together for is sports! I've been here all my life, and not much has changed!
@buttons__6046 we lived in Ocala from 2005 till 2012 and it was wonderful...we loved it. Everyone together and working together.....always had huge 3 hour Christmas parade
United we stand divided we fall. We all are Americans ( it’s WE THE PEOPLE ) that have the power not our government. The politicians they want us separated from each other that’s why they make everything about race related because they fear the day we all unite together hold hands and stand up for each other as humans and all the damn politicians know if we do that they can’t stop us.
My hats off to you for being a fair and objective young man. I don't know if you're familiar with Renaissance Man, but his question to white liberals was, "When someone mentions crime, are black people the first people that enter your mind?" It's all about standing up for your community.
Thank you for your honesty. I’m an American Asian man that grew up in a small tight knit community with blacks, Mexicans, Asians, whites, Indian people. I never saw color growing up. Everyone were the same to me and treated them the same. It’s the stupid Democrats that wants to divide this country. We are one country that needs unity despite our race and religion.
The Democrat party, when I was growing up, was the party that kept the country together and took care of the little man. It has only been in the last twenty years or so that everything has flipped and the Democrats became greedy and stupid. I am older than Barack Obama so I have seen a lot of political mistakes from both parties. Neither party really gives a damn for any of the American public, or for America in general, and both parties are guilty of doing some really bad things... But yeah, the Democrats come out on top of the crap list in this one.
Isn’t it insensitive to say “ I don’t see color”? My husband said it in a meeting and got reemed by an Asian woman who said he was being inappropriate because it means he doesn’t recognize other cultures and cultures…
I don' think it's the "stupid Democrats" as much as the far left that has been ceded so much more power on this swing of the pendulum. Same as thinking smart Republicans.....there are smart and stupid on both sides, some with good intentions some with not.....but just like calling ALL conservatives alt-right nazis, its not helpful to call ALL liberals woke communist snowflakes.
He wasn't talking about protesting. He was talking about rioters and looters. Big difference. Great reaction, calling out the people trying to divide us.
When he sang about "good ol boys" with where a lynching happened, kind of threw that logic right in garbage, didnt it? Which is exactly where this song belongs!

We all will stand up and handle business for each other if it comes down to it. That's what's so beautiful about Our country. ❤ "Round here we take care of our own"
The " round up" lyrics you mentioned weren't talking about people. He said, " Gotta gun that my granddad gave me, they say one day they're gonna round up.." talking about taking guns from citizens. Great reaction !
This is exactly what the reference is about. Racists claiming it was about rounding up black people and shooting and lynching them. So really, who is the racist!?
Right on my man, I'm by no means a country fan but he's talking about all of us coming together and proteting our towns from this crazy violence. I hate people spinning shit to fit their narrative and cause more hate and discontent, It's uncalled for!
Ummm people got played. There are factions of dark web people spinning this. Really nothing to spin but golly everyone jumped up on that horse and rode it. We gotta be smarter America.... Truly
So many dont get it. 😢 We have all colors in our town and we all get along! Try that in our small town and you'll see all races coming together because we are united! PERIOD!
Humble opinion There are 3 points that are strong 1. Lyrics say grandad gave him his first g*n..reminding everyone of their 2nd Amendment . Protect your life, family and community. 2. He says Round up..a Terminology when Government confiscate your 2nd amendment rights through restrictions in laws. May happen in the city..but small Towns understand their Rights. 3. He uses Veterans as imagery to remind Government that citizens are packed and loaded. Putting Government on check. The Media is working extra hard to put racial, hate against each other. But why? Because Media works with politicians.. Government was put on check. Reminding every citizen that everyone has the right to protect your life, family, community with your 2nd Ammendment. Color of skin does not matter..what matter is your life.. A Government with out restrictions can be dangerous. United we stand, devided we fall.
Thanks for the insight, your three points are very accurate I feel like this is a distraction for something else, they putting all this negative energy in the media over a song when the politicians are the ones pushing the agenda…appreciate you checking out the channel, peace to you...
The Libs are just Mad, because Jason reminds all of us of the outrageous Failure of those Blue, Democratic run Politicians of those cities, that allowed the destruction of Taxpayers & Private Property Owners Property !
Anyone saying it is about people of color are racist. People of color are not the only ones committing crimes. Most of the people in the video committing crimes were white.
Smart man. You are 100% correct. It’s about coming together and standing up with and for each other. Those in power are scared when we the people unite! Black, white, Asian, Latino everyone together and that scares the mess out of them.
I’m from THIS small town in Tennessee. The courthouse has been standing since the Civil War. This song is not about race, it’s about taking care of your neighbors, your family and being good people. People lost their minds cuz of something that happened 100 years ago. Most everybody I ever knew were the least racist people you’d ever meet. But they had your back if somebody, ANYBODY, bowed up to you.
One more thing, there's another, earlier version that has news footage of a farmer who's been hurt & how the community stopped working on their crops to come help him. He's a little emotional, but he says, this is what this community does, if you need help, you're going to get help. My dad was a proud farmer & he'd have stepped up to help anyone that needed it, but him accepting help, it was a little harder for him as he was used to helping. Parkinson's took him from us, that part of the video brought me to tears. I don't understand why it was removed but look for older version, seriously only about 8-10 days ago.
I have guns passed down from my grandfather and great-grandfather. The government coming in and rounding them up is not going to fly with me. I really appreciate the message of the song to stop the criminal activity. Whatever happen to peaceful demonstrations?? Thank you for your reaction, sir. Have a good night.
So there was a smallish town in Idaho that banded together with a local militia in 2020 when the protestors (antifa) that were being bussed in to basically riot as they had in Spokane. Citizen militia stood, armed, on the streets and watched and waited. They didn't have much of a problem there. The peaceful protesters were left alone and the disrupters either chickened out or were stopped from entering the downtown. That is an example of "try that in a small town". Community protecting their own. My sister sent me pics. It was epic. That is all this song was saying. We are a community in small towns. We don't take it, we protect ours.
Great song. I grew up in a small farming, mostly blue collar town and this is absolutely on point. Stuff not tolerated there that is considered “normal” in big cities.
Small towns...... No reason to riot. Everyone knows everyone else. I think it's statistically impossible. Aldean has a point but very bad execution of getting his thoughts together on this.
Your a very intelligent young man. Glad you are here to explain the reality of this song. I guess some folks think there are no black folk that live in small towns. We need to be here for each other
You are right about that they think blacks don't live in small towns and I know for a fact they all stick together it doesn't matter what color you are
You nailed it. It’s amazing how some people miss the point of this song altogether. Being from a small farming community in Iowa, I can relate to his message. It’s simple. Support your community, love your country, and each other…and protect what you’ve worked so hard to cultivate. If anyone wants to threaten any of that, good luck to you. I wouldn’t recommend trying it though.
A story that illustrates Aldean's point: In my home state of Alabama, in a small town (I won't mention the name of the town, but some may remember the story) there was a man, a community leader that had lived in and served his community for twenty years and was loved and respected by everyone as "one of the good guys". He was an illegal from Mexico that had made this small town in Alabama his home, built up his own business from nothing, sponsored little league teams, and attended church regularly. In 2019, at the height of the crack down on immigration issue, federal agents from ICE came to arrest him and return him to Mexico. The local police chief, sheriff's office, and the town in general said no, he isn't going anywhere with you. Friends of mine who were not Trump supporters and knew that I am asked me, "I thought Republicans were all about arresting and returning Mexicans?". I laughed and had to explain that they didn't understand. In a small southern town, we protect our own. The feds came to hassle one of us, one of our people, and that simply won't be tolerated in a small town. The feds finally gave up and went looking for actual criminals after they realized they would get no support from the locals. "Try that in a small town, and see how far you get down..."
I came because I haven't seen a reaction to this one in a minute. I really appreciate the way you LISTEN to the lyrics, and your intelligent, articulate, and thoughtful comments. Subbed.
I see this video as a comparison of what ALL Americans should feel. Not a minority. I feel like most of us were raised to do the right thing and if others don’t, there will be people who got your back in the community. This should be #1 in country now. We’re not going to stand for anymore enticing violence against any minority and he is making that clear. I am a minority and this song makes me proud that we can speak our truth.
My hat’s off to you bro. Props to you for you going into this reaction with an open mind. I’ve been deployed twice and color means absolutely nothing to me. We all bleed red. We are all the same. As for the small towns he’s referring to, everyone has that mentality. “FAFO”. great video bro.
I'm from a small country town. He's just talking facts! The country boys are a tough crowd and they WILL protect their own. Nothing racist here. All people are doing is making the song more famous.
Aldean. Does his song not address the crimes of white extremist, or the groups which started the capitol? He talks about citizens spiting on police...what about that white mob (proud boys , oath keeper) types who stormed the capitol taking that police officers life, why aren't those video clips in the song?
There’s nothing racist in this video, I 1000% agree with you on this. There’s always someone that wants to make everything about race. It’s so sad, people really need to grow up. Not everyone is racist, just dumb ass people want to make stuff about race, I don’t get it and I don’t understand why. We are in the 21st century in the year 2023, it’s time to stop this crap, God put us all here on this earth. Thank you for sharing your viewpoint on this video. Sending you much love my friend. God Bless you.
I have never even heard that this song was being considered as racist until Whoopi Goldberg started sprouting her mouth about it... But it was Whoopi Goldberg, so that tells you how much truth is there was in HER racist statement, huh?
I grew up in a small town (Quincy WA- population 3000) Man I feel what he is saying. Folks band together. I was a young kid in the 60's - Folks needed to re-roof the house. Must have been 10-15 guys show up over the weekend. Existing Roof off on Saturday. followed by a BBQ- Sunday Roof completed - BBQ. Folks just look out for each other.
When everything is racist them nothing is racist and we all know racism exists in the minds of the ignorant. Crying racist all the time is like crying wolf. After a while real chances for continued racial progress gets derailed.
Im tired of the anti-whiteism and hatred towards whites. Whites were the ones across the globe to finally end thousands of years of slavery. Whites fought and DIED to end slavery in Western nations. African and Arab nations still engage in slavery. Some even have open slave markets. Ghana still allows child slavery. Quit blaming white people for slavery, since white people STOPPED slavery.

We’re all One !!!!
It’s time we all stand together 🇺🇸
No doubt
I agree with you. I think the people calling this racist are the ones that are actually racist assuming it's about people of color. I'm white as snow but I will stand with my community everyday.
100% anyone calling this racist is the problem…
Jason is speaking on behalf the rest of the USA and there are people of color who also live in these small towns who will protect themselves!!
AMEN!
Amen. 👍
Amen
@@Libbi-ju5ym well said! I was raised in the Missouri Ozarks. The entire small town stepped up when ANY family was in trouble and needed a helping hand. Love the message of the song and video!
I’m a 65 year old white woman living in a small town north of Chicago. My son in law is an African American man. 3 beautiful mixed race Grandkids growing up in a small town.
I was born and raised in Chicago grrrrr hated it for 24 years , then I moved to Decatur Illinois to a smaller town with my daughter and love it
And that was 24 years ago lol
@Shaman196-- Peaceful protests happen all the time, fool. Tea Party did nothing but responsible, peaceful protests back in the 2010's.
Freespeech isn't criminal!
I think the white liberals were the main troublemakers

As a white male in a small town, we just don't want nonsense. We love anyone that has a smile on their faces and love and respect in their heart.

Hi from HOG sista in USA
I live in a small town in America. We have mixed races. No one ever speaks of racism. We help one another and support our community.
Spot on commentary! We are all made in the image of God, and the fight is Spiritual, not racial. God bless you. Ephesians 6:10-20
Couldn’t agree more. Unity. Stand strong against people who try to categorize us. We are all are Americans.
Amen
United we stand divided we fall. We all are Americans ( it’s WE THE PEOPLE ) that have the power not our government. The politicians they want us separated from each other that’s why they make everything about race related because they fear the day we all unite together hold hands and stand up for each other as humans and all the damn politicians know if we do that they can’t stop us.
My hats off to you for being a fair and objective young man. I don't know if you're familiar with Renaissance Man, but his question to white liberals was, "When someone mentions crime, are black people the first people that enter your mind?"
It's all about standing up for your community.
I’m black and I love the song and it’s true. There’s nothing racism .
@@novascotiaskater1868maybe she should go to her safe space and cry a little more.

It’s not about race. It’s about not committing violence and vandalism. There is a huge difference between protests and violence.
It's so good to see people { ALL OVER THE WORLD } waking up and thinking for themselves again. 2024 is the time people.
Humble opinion
There are 3 points that are strong
You’re smart and I see this perspective most! Couldn’t have said it better myself.
Anyone saying it is about people of color are racist. People of color are not the only ones committing crimes. Most of the people in the video committing crimes were white.

I know in my small town it doesnt matter what your skin color is we will stand and fight for anyone who needs help
❤❤❤
Really ?
Exactly right man. He never once mentions color or race. The people who think it is are the problem and are helping to push the false narrative.
They should have left that part in!!!! It would make the message clearer.
When folks overuse the label racist or racism it starts to lose it's meaning. Appreciate your take on this. Keep on speaking facts and being real!
Amen. Thank you DaybombTV for your truth and wisdom. ❤

We can all come around this message, just about decent people and treating everyone right
Your a very intelligent young man. Glad you are here to explain the reality of this song. I guess some folks think there are no black folk that live in small towns. We need to be here for each other
You are right about that they think blacks don't live in small towns and I know for a fact they all stick together it doesn't matter what color you are
Boom you got it brother ! Good on ya! We need to come together as ALL AMERICANS !
Thank you!! We have to stand together ❤️❤️
When you’re in a country town no matter your color they take care of each other and will not not stand for someone coming in and creating chaos

You're speaking the truth man. Thanks for having the balls to say what others could not.
Thank you!

My hat’s off to you bro. Props to you for you going into this reaction with an open mind. I’ve been deployed twice and color means absolutely nothing to me. We all bleed red. We are all the same. As for the small towns he’s referring to, everyone has that mentality. “FAFO”. great video bro.

When everything is racist them nothing is racist and we all know racism exists in the minds of the ignorant. Crying racist all the time is like crying wolf. After a while real chances for continued racial progress gets derailed.
Well said I appreciate that, peace to you..
I’m more upset about what’s going on in Florida than this song. That situation is calling for a real discussion about racism.

I’ve been saying on other video reactions…this is America’s song right now. And then I get blasted for saying that. Great reaction! You got a new subscriber! Thank you for saying this. It’s not about race, it’s about standing up for your neighbors and fellow man, your communities, and 2nd amendment. I say play it, loud and proud! Continue to support Jason!
This is not about race this is a distraction for something else they just want us to go against each other...
