    The finishing shot in the 6th was probably the nastiest and most destructive of Inoue's career. Kudos to Nery, you could see in his eyes that he was broken by the end of the 5th round and yet he went out swinging. He never ran like the others. He came in hated in Japan, but he surely turned the tide and has earned his respect over here!
    As always, great commentary!

    • @UrbanBDKNY
      @UrbanBDKNY Місяць тому +9

      @@-AnGeLuS- crazy to keep seeing people bring up race. I m Dominican and by default that also makes me black. I get African genes. I support black boxers like Tank. Frank Martin. Crawford and I love Edwin as a Dominican but I also love Loma. Innoue. Benavidez etc
      I prefer to support based on what I LIKE. I don’t like low risk taking defensive boxers. Most the guys I like have offense and defense and entertain. We have a lot of black boxers who fit into that. I ll support the ones that make me want to watch

    • @asianconnection7701

      INOUE said as a boxer, we are should come in the ring and try to knock each other out and NOT play point fighting because the crowd deserves to see a good fight for the money they pay to watch us.

    • @droptopp3479
      @droptopp3479 Місяць тому +12

      Been saying this also, race shouldn't matter in boxing or sports in general. It's just that there's so many black fighters that a lot of people get a little racist rather than looking at skills. Inoue is generational talent, all the guys he has fought has lasted alot of 12rd fights but they never lasted against inoue.

    • @UrbanBDKNY
      @UrbanBDKNY Місяць тому

      @@droptopp3479 I get it. I see a lot of racist ish in these comments. Mexicans being racist to blacks and vice versa etc
      This all comes from not respecting boxing as a whole. Sometimes black fighters and fans just think Mexicans slug fest and have no skills and Mexicans think black fighters are scared to fight and have no cojones
      There are skilled technical Mexican fighters and there are slugging black fighters. Entitlement is a big issue too
      “The point of boxing is hit and not get hit”
      I hate that overrated line. The objective of ANY SPORT, including boxing is TO WIN
      There is no definition that states the point of boxing is hit and not get hit. Off course it makes sense to avoid being hit but the goal is to end the fight with the other guy. You can stick and move for 12 rounds or you can get hit a few times taking risks and knock the other guy out in 5 rounds…
      Which one makes more sense? The one that works for the fighter., but the masses CLEARLY prefer more exciting fights. That’s why Tank sells and Shakur doesn’t

    So many folks don't realize how much greatness we are witnessing when watching Naoya Inoue. I truly know "physically" Inoue won't get up to 8 weight divisions like PacMan. His body ain't built that way lol. But by the end of his career, I could see Inoue fighting in 5 weight divisions (with the potential 6 weight division against a dream fight w/Tank Davis). But I expect Inoue to end his amazing fighting career undefeated with a 85-90% knockout record. You need to put the monster up there with the time all time great like Sugar Ray Robinson. In this most recent fight, you saw how Inoue could still land knockdowns going forward and "backwards"? His IQ and skills are off the chart. I hope all the featherweights are ready because Sam Goodman is his last fight at 122.

Then I said no one can beat the Blacks and Latinos. Then came the Cubans, Russians, and so on. But I ALWAYS SAID the Asians are TOO WEAK to beat the SUPERIOR AMERICAN boxers. I found every excuse to cut Naoya Inoue down. Now I realize we are experiencing a once in a life time phenomena: super human boxing strength with the mind of a Russian chess master. 特に軽量級が多い日本人にとってはラスベガスで試合するメリットもないし、今や軽量級の主戦場は日本にある!
