Yeah, you can use mostly any decks or cards, as long as you don't have cards on the ban list and if you follow the limited and semi-limited card list, you are ok to duel.
Actually his voice is the only reason I watch these videos. I can understand why it might annoy some people, but I am really not a big yu-gi-oh fan at all (did 1 tournament about 6 years ago) and just watch these videos because I love the way he reacts when he gets a good card. The way he speaks to make it seem more exciting just adds to the fun and reminds me of opponing a few packs back in the day :)
Not to mention, he sounds like he's actually enjoying what he does and enjoys the game. Some of these "Yugitubers" on here act like it's college exam time on some of these videos. As least SimplyUnlucky is having fun, which is what the game and these videos should be all about. Well said, nudeood!
Awesome, i litterally got the super battle box for this starter deck yesterday and it was AWESOME the battle box or kit, i cant remember what it said but it came with that starter deck and the 2 battle packs, 3 extra booster pacts and 50 tournoment grade seto kaiba and obelisk the tormentor card sleeves, it was EPIC :P
If not, you can get it for about $20. You get the deck, 50 Shien sleeves, 2 power packs and 3 booster packs. It's pretty good for starting out, or just getting some extra cards.
Depends where you go. I buy Kaijudo boxes for $70 if I look hard enough. My local store does $75 for a yugioh booster box. It really depends where you shop and what you think is the best price that you can afford.

Card Destruction is only for draw/mill/discard decks. It's not a staple anymore because discard (specifically darkworld, but some people can use like fable) decks can swarm the field if you use card destruction. Monster Reborn is good, but not always needed, plus it's only limited to one. Dark Hole is also limited to one and Stardust Dragon as well as lot of new cards can negate it really easily.
I really like that Konami added the two power up packs with this deck, although my Power up pack B was loaded wrong and I ended up getting 2 Super rare cards Mirror Force and Magic Cylinder. I'm not complaining since the Super Mirror Force looks so good.
yes if u summon gagaga magician then u can special summon child, both at level 6 summon that xyz but u can't attack the turn u summoned an xyz if u used child's levelling effect.
His "Best Opening" title isn't referring to the cards he pulls, most of the time. It's reference to the fact that his video quality is better than any other pack openers on UA-cam.
he has massive attack, and once he's out of overlay units, you can use creature swap to put him on your opponents field and burn him every turn. its like a super lava golem
gentlemander is good though if you get 2 on the field; your opp can't attack any monsters on your side of the field basically a 4 star marauding captain since it can ss by itself
Guys you can get this Super Stater Deck V at any local store where they sell cards..I got mines at Walmart and manage to pull out a super rare Mst ans Super rare cylinder :D
but MST is still great in its own right, besides Mirror Force only gets rid of ATTACK position monsters...so yeah they're both great cards. Personally I wish he got the full set.
I checked a local cardshop today, they sold lots of yu gi oh things (and other tcgs) but this deck wasn't one of those things. I guess since I live in Sweden I might get it a bit later.
For all those who are confused about the power up packs for this starter deck (and maybe others), they changed from 2 packs of 5 to 1 pack of 10 u still get the same cards which u could hav gotten in 2 pack. Like this comment for people to see. I bought 3 packs and got: 1 x Mirror Force, 1 x MST, 2 x Swords of revealing light and 2 magic cylinders of the ultra rare spells/traps.
May I ask why you say that? Mirror force can save you from almost any attacks unless you'e been shock-mastered or the card states otherwise. So if it sucked, why was it limited at 2?
For any deck to be playable you need to buy three of them so there is more consistency in what you play. I don't like it either but then again, I haven't played for a while because of stuff like this

When I bought it here in Australia, there was just the one power-up pack, that had both the Utopia Ray V and Rank-up Magic, as well as the other cards

i got this today and the decks and cards from the power packs were incredible i added lots cards on my chaos deck so i can duel in tournaments
