    In my own understanding in the Philippine context, patriotism is still evident but the grasp for nationalism somehow been deranged due to political agenda.

    RSS or Rashtriya Seva Samiti loosely translatable as National Service Association !
    Where did you get National Self… from !!?
    Would be great if you stick to interpreting cultural and historical figures without adding your personal take on ‘last ten years’ etc . Offputting really.
    My opinion.
    Maybe , I expected too much and you have fallen short.
    Either way, your choice.

      RSS in this podcast stands for the Hindu cultural organization, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. It is aimed at "service." Rashtriya means national. Swayamsevak means self-helpers or he/she/they who serve and emancipate others to serve. Sangh means association. We have given the right meanings.
