- Travel Songs with Dorian Lovewell - Artist Sam Able - EP 3 - Sponsored By Warm Audio \
I am traveling around to different cities in the United States including New York, Boston, Nashville and many others. Meeting up with various singer/songwriters in those cities and recording a song. I will be recording and producing the song while making a video of the creation process. See the vision come to life! Sit back and enjoy as these talented artists share their song with me. I will show you step by step how we add parts to the song to make it a masterpiece. This is Travel Songs!

Eu não entendo o que ela canta mas a música é bonita e a cantora também.
ain't no one breaking her heart
Heres my $.02, strong vocal and piano writing and performance. Those programmed drum tracks are on that song like a cheap suit. This song only needs a ride cymbal with rivets playing quarter notes with the hh (foot pedal) on the 2 and 4along with some wire brushes stirring a coated snare head. I think the bass sound is unfitting as it sounds like a p-bass that doesn't blend with other instrumentation. I would try an upright bass played with fingers and maybe even bowed in some sections . And last that viola sound is very blah. You must have better string samples than that.
I don't think it called for drums at all. Except for maybe a large tom for accent when it got big. Plenty of other stuff going on here.
Oh well. For a song recorded on a laptop with one mic in a living room...it came out great.
Lucky it's not your song...
