Of all the Tour de France I have seen on television this is absolute my favourite, Fantastic performance by this tall Italian man who according to other professionals also was known for his kindness.

Charles Idoux & Lucien Chanel I started to like Adrian Kirsten in the end. It was a sort of “I can’t believe this guy is actually saying this”sort of moment but it was interesting if nothing else. I have a stack more of the Tour from around that time to load up but need to find some spare hours to copy it off the VHS tapes (don’t laugh!).
