Ahah what a game ! 15:06 it is a Vienna ! e4 e5 Nc3 is the Vienna opening. 16:35 Nd6 I don't like. You ruined your queenside structure earlier, so you should just castle short now ! 16:42 again here, just castle before it's too late ! 16:58 here it's already very very tough to play... Qf6 is scary, lining up with his rook, and g6 or g5 just weakens your king even more, apparently you can survive but you have nowhere safe on the board for your king... Nf6 is interesting, if they take on g7 at least you have the open file to attack his king also ! Rg8 loses a pawn, but it's still ok, maybe a good practicle choice ! 17:25 g5 works wow, nice idea ! I mean it's still scary but ok at least there are some ideas ! 19:01 the position seemed very desparate for you imo ! But then somehow white got too confident and gave you chances back ! 19:22 and here it's just great for you now with so much material, but still be very very careful !! It's not over until it's over, and it's still scary with your exposed king ! 19:26 this is not bad ! Just Qd4+ Kh1 O-O-O is better for you, getting your king safe, giving back the knight but still up the exchange ! His attack is still scary otherwise ! 19:35 Rg8 has to be played here, cover the back rank ! 20:00 and GG ! Opponent blunders and now he has no more attack ! Overall the opening was pretty bad, you should castle before it's too late ! Especially when 1 side is ruined and you know you are castling the other way ! Keep it up man !
Hey man! I'll make a video soon detailing the steps I've taken to take my rating to the next level, but the biggest piece of advice I'd give is not only to try to find the best move in your position, but also take the time to try to identify your opponent's best response - often you'll have a seemingly great idea that doesn't work because it's refuted by one counterattack or defensive option, and you'll avoid a lot of blunders by seriously considering your opponent's best move after yours is played :)
