It took me into watching "Mariposa del Barrio" to learn and fully appreciate Jennie Rivera's music. I have a whole new respect for Jennie and for her children. I feel for what Jennie went through & her children with their misereble father. God Bless them all for this is a sad & beautiful story stay strong Jennie Rivera's CHILDREN & KEEP UP WITH HER LEGACY !!
Her last 2 kids not only lost their mother but remember they lost their father Juan Lopez too 3 years before her passing. 3 years still grieving with the death of your father and then the sudden death of their mother. They had no room to grieve for one before losing another, not to mention all the other stressful situations life was still throwing at them. They stay close as a family and that's where they're making their parents proud. Instead of letting the deaths completely break the family apart, they grew stronger together to grieve together and to move on together.
She raised them right. I hate hate hate reality shows. But this one I want to watch in full every episode! This family is so tight. Jenni did a great job as a mom raising her children because they could be so dysfunctional.
I just finished watching Mariposa del Barrio on Netflix. I'm sooooo sad !! How tragic of her to have went Thru sooo much and then passed away!! Im so devastated
people need stop hating on these kids they are living there lives with what they have they are not rich but therr mom did leave them on right path. i myself lost my mom and dad before my teen yrs and its devasting but we all go on to live and lifes hard but we learn ourselves im proud of these kids on there success

Chiquis looks JUST like her dad like exactly. Jackie looks like her mom she def got the Rivera gene same with mike. But chiquis has her dads exact nose His nose almost looks like he’s had a nose job but he didn’t and hers looks just like that almost like she’s had a nose job but she hasn’t it’s weird to explain idk and she also has her dads lips and small eyes the Rivera side has big deep set eyes. However chiquis got jennis body.
