With the carnivores area, they seem to change out what animals are there. I was there a few years ago, and there were tigers there along with other things. The only issue that I have with the Wilds tours is that the stops are far to short to actually do things...the first one barely leaves time to see everything if you rush. The second is the one where if you want to get anything there, you're not going to be able to see the animals...and the restroom is there as well. Doubling both stops would actually allow time to see things there without feeling rushed to get back to the bus.
Tour guides have to follow a strict time schedule. They need to be done within 2hrs and 20mins to allow them to have a lunch break before they have to give another tour. Tours usually leave every 15mins so if they doubled the time at the stops they would not be able to give as many tours a day
Judging from the lack of indoor space per number of animals they have (Google Earth) and based on my winter visits to zoos, all of these species can withstand the cold. Especially the dhole.
The animals that cannot stand the cold all have off site facilities they stay in. The dhole is allowed to stay out however as they are from a area where it does get cold (they can actually be found as far north as Siberia)
Booma! When will Part 2 of the Ohio Safari come? Likewise, try visiting the San Diego Zoo Safari Park soon! And 4 zoo trivia questions for you.... 1) How would you rate the Omaha Zoo's African Grasslands attraction? 2) Which elephant from the Oakland Zoo passed away the last few years? 3) What dinosaur is the ostrich related to? 4) On a scale of 1 to 20, what do you think of the San Diego Zoo's new Wildlife Explorers Basecamp attraction?
Haha “not d-hole!” Never even considered someone may think that…🤣 … what’s interesting is the word “dhole” is usually pronounced in Hindi (and other languages of the subcontinent) more like “dole-eeh”, just more flat on that last vowel. More like “doe-leh”.

I love the new style with the intros and outros. This channel has come such a long way over the last five years.
Thank you for sticking around this long!
First! The Carnivore Center was my favorite part of The Wilds when I went 3 years ago!
Nice job, Zach! As always!
I think I was first but I guess it’s not a competition
Love how you have new graphics for the animals and your intros!
Zach you have greatest channel I just want to visit all these zoos

Can you add Close Captions? That would make the videos 1000% better.
As far as I can see, there already is.
@@ZooTours I mean the not the auto generated ones.
The best channel on UA-cam? Zoo Tours🙌
Where do they go in the winter? Are the indoor housing for these animals any good? Looks like a cool place

Dholes are actually kept in five facilities in the U.S. 💕
"you'll find them at four other parks" [SD Safari Park, Zoo Miami, Bronx, Minnesota]
Sounds like that's what he said...
You are counting the wilds
You should do a Q&A
