My dad made something very similar when I was a kid and didn't want to buy a fishing poles for everyone in the family. He bought the cheapest spool of fishing line and made a few of these hand line for the fam. We looked so primitive but they where good memories of being with my dad. Caught fish, ate fish over a wood fire, good times.
Great video bro! It makes me think of the days when people would sit around and make such things rather than watch someone : ) thank you I hope this comes in handy for many of us!
What is the deal wit that notebook, do you note knots and stuff into it, if so can you please make a video about it. I am thinking of geting into fishing but I can't info like tipes of knotst and other detailed stuff or what I find is not explained clearly.
I understand what you're saying. There are so many different knots out there, it's often hard to know which ones are actually useful. The notebook I use is to write down stuff that's worked for me. I hope to put out a video on knots in the future. Thanks for your comment. All the best.

Nice story. If it gets the job done, that's all that matters, right! Thanks for your comment. All the best.

Much appreciated, Luke. It's also quite satisfying whittling one out yourself. Good luck.
I’m gonna go make one now. Cheers
Good luck. I hope the video helps you out.
