Been listening to this prayer in song a lot lately. My dad is struggling with dementia and mom is struggling with the resulting exhaustion as his caregiver. They are 82 and 80 and have always been VERY independent. So, I'm praying we, as a family can stay "in the moment" so we don't miss what He has for us! Thank you, Jeremy Camp!

This song was in my head all during my restless night. First thing this morning I played it and listened to all the words. I am determined to change how I start my days. I want to be in the moment of God’s “new mercy” each morning and renounce that old voice that wants to remind me of all my failures of the previous day. Thank you for this song. God used these words to remind me that I have a hopeful future by living in this moment with my eyes wide open.
