Bro you’re the only reason why I found a stick . No one else wanted to be “helpful “ the only thing I messed up on was the mount. Currently looking at the Gecko & Telesin triple mount cus it’s metal also
The Delkin gecko triple suction cup I use is metal. Really solid and it’s been on a 1200 hp viper and gtr now lol

Hey there, I know this video is a little old, but I was wondering if you recommend a newer invisible stick to go with this set up? I’m about to get the insta360 x4 for my bday, and I just want something that will work great and not make me nervous with it breaking. Only one is available to buy in your links anymore, and that one doesn’t have the best reviews.

Settings like 5:10 for example
Everything is auto. ISO is 200-800 or 1600 depends on what u like. Fps can’t be changed
Its just good post ai editing.
Wanna do this but with a semi but it’s gonna be hard to get up there and also scared it’s gonna hit a bridge or sign or something low and it’s gonna get knocked off

When editing, how do you get the video focus to rotate in the finished video? Like how do you get it to focus on the car next to you mid race? I have a 360 setup and can’t figure out how to do it
U have to set a key frame point and drag the camera angle to desired spot

Hello! I just got this mount today, the exact same you have. I noticed quicly that the last link on the 3-Suction Cup Mount before the invisible stick had to be rotated 45 degrees, so the stick couldn't be bent down or up, but to the sides. It keeps the stick pretty much in place when driving normal, but once I'm doing a little hard turn or bumpy road, it rotates to either left or right, even after tighting the screw as much as possible, did you do something for it to stay in the center?
Also my invisible stick had screw threads in plastic!? (It's not the one you recommended though) But it only lasted for 15 min and fell off lol, glad I was doing it in low speed on a country road.
Have to get one with metal screw threads.

Any stick is great if it’s only 1 feet extended. I personally like fully extended so I can capture the car as is.
Also if I didn’t have that white stripe I’d put it on the trunk and then shortening the stick.
Thanks for replying! My car is Iconic Silver so I’d like to keep it on the window to hide the camera but it’s for roll racing and not really that important.
Do you have any issues with any of the sticks extending all the way out when doing pulls?
I’d like to run a bit shorter possibly and I’m worried about the 1/4” mount ripping out by the base.

@@markbevilacqua3415 nope not yet. I tested another stick(discontinued) on a 1000 WHP gtr and it’s been solid! Carbon fiber stick hasn’t been an issue yet. Suction cup is amazing

I don't own this camera but I was thinking about buying it. How did you get the exhaust audio so clear? Would you normally have a crap ton of wind noise?
Get a louder exhaust extremely helps out a lot

Did u render the clip or r u just viewing the video?
If you’ve rendered the video and the stitch line is there then maybe the camera is too close
Finally figured out that once rendered it goes away lol. My problem now is that the selfie stick is causing the car to bounce. I have the exact selfie stick and fat gecko mount that you do…do you have yours fully extended when mounted on the back glass? Also mine keeps coming unlocked and I have to pull over and twist lock the sections over and over lol
The carbon fiber one? Twist it harder lmao! I try to leave a little more material in between the sections. Fully extended it does get bouncy but try to go on good roads 🤣

You need the 360 camera! If u just use a regular gopro you’ll see the stick and only one direction

Did some testing and cant say I notice this in your vids, i got the tri mount, the stick and the gopro max but when i review the footage the stitching is awful!
I thought maybe because of the camera orientation or the stick length but no matter what I do the stitching both near and far is pretty horrible, roof misaligned with the C pillar, vertical warp around the car.
Set the camera up identical to your setup. Any ideas? Does some sort of editing software help render this out?
When you view it in the editor it may have bad stitching. Finish rendering the video

I just got the first Invisible stick that you put in the description. I do not recommend. Bottom piece is glued in. I was installing this set up on my car and the stick fell apart before I even got to use it. It looked like a nice piece too but unfortunately not.

I corner a lot at high speeds in cities mostly n sometimes on highways when there’s twisty turns, do you think your setup will hold a 50-90 mile turn?
no issues. i have thrown the set up on a drift car and the stick only slightly bends to one side during the run. after the run i just move it back to center.
