Okay, so lately, I've been on a Power Rangers high and I just looked up. Talzin is voiced by Barbara Goodson, who did the voice half for Rita Repulsa (the live action half being Machiko Soga).
Merrin could be the next Mother... They just need to write out Kata Akuna and Cere's last line takes on a whole new meaning... Merrin is Cal's mara Jade though... Much story to unfold
likely due to the fact there was not enough information on their enemy's combat potential aside from the drones, especially since Grievous is incredibly famous and known for killing jedi. Its better to overestimate than underestimate since if she accidentally underestimated him that would've been the end for the Nightsisters. Better to confirm a future than continue a worrysome present

No, a few people have noticed that. Mother Talzin's voice even sounds like Mother Mohiam in the 2000 SyFy miniseries. And Talzin's "double voice" sounds like the original effects for The Voice used in David Lynch's movie.
Although people may hate the prequel movies, the characters that were created from it are some of my favourites in the franchise. I really want to see Mother Talzin come back in a live action tv series.

She know that the assassination attempt failed, she know that Dooku know that she lied about Ventress death and actually helped her planning his assassination. Why isn't she doing anything? Like moving her clan away, somewhere Dooku doesn't know about? Someone as smart as her couldn't possibly believe the Count wouldn't retaliate and that the whole clan would be in danger. It's really starting to look like she purposefully lead the Nightsister clan to its doom.
I feel like its possible that we may see a return of Mother Talzin and other dead Dathomirians, since the 3 Mother Nightsisters of Peridea seem to want to resurrect the other members of their kind
Asajj Ventress came back, and now we get to see a flashback of the massacre. I think they're going to work more on Nightsisters/Dathomir now. So it's likely that she'll come back.

Who would have guessed that RITA REPULSA herself is the voice of this character!!! The simple fact that her color is blood red which reminds me of Lord Zedd, and two of Talzin's sons have colors associated to Rita Repulsa!! MAUL became half flesh, half machine and her other son, SAVAGE is literally and figuratively Maul's second in command much like Goldar. To hammer it home, the colors associated with Mother Talzin whenever she casts a spell in her dark magic is color GREEN!!!
Honestly, if this animation studio took on Warhammer 40k imagine how fucking amazing they could make Necrons, that green concentrated dark energy is just amazing!
I do hope that they will bring back Mother Talzin in the Ahsoka TV series with Barbara Goodson back in the role BUT in live action!!! It would be hilarious to speculate that the first sentence Mother Talzin will say is "Ah! After ten thousand years, I have returned! It's time to take back the galaxy, Grand Admiral Thrawn!"
"Nightsisters know the dark side better than anyone. We grow up steeped in it, but we can use it as a tool and stay ourselves-unlike the Sith." - Asajj Ventress, "Dark Disciple" I never believed that Nightsisters were not as bad as Sith. I think they deluded themselves into thinking that they were true masters of Dark Side unlike Sith and their loyality to each other was in truth (or heart of hearts) a sham.
Actually, the initiates undergo a ritual to determine wether the Darkside controls them or not before being either killed or officially recognized as Nightsisters. The initiates must go to the depths of an aquatic cavern, where the nest of an unnatamable violent creature and their family lies. If the initiate sucumbs to fear and uses her magic to try and murder the creature, some sort of kill switch is activated in which she is prevented from using her powers, allowing the monster to devour the initiate. If instead she can use the magic to form some sort of connection with the Beast, then she is allowed to go (and I believe she gets some sort of prize from the monster). Besides, it is confirmed their powers are weaker than those of an actual Sith due to the fact their discipline limits the most corrupting parts of their power, which is why they resort mostly to illusions and mind games rather than actual physical might.

Talzin: "Ah, sister, you see that is easily explained... well, it must be that... surely it... well... huh. Actually, I have no idea. That sounds much easier than what I had planned. I could have easily aided you in killing or capturing him, you know how powerful I am? And Dooku was previously captured by pirates." Ventress: "Idiots!"
The ideal apprentice for Sidious to choose to continue Darth Bane's Rule of Two. But Sidious decided to choose Maul over Talzin because he wants to be the one to achieve Darth Bane's long-term goals. No one else. Ironically, Talzin was not a Sith but her close relation with Ventress kind of show a Master and Apprentice relationship.
The way she 1v1'd windu and lived to tell the tale. Even palpy needed help to not die to Windu. If only plot armor was on her side she could have ripped palpy a new one
If she could stalemate palpatine then it’s possible she could do the same with yoda. I think yodas only advantage over her is his skills with a lightsaber. But knowing talzin she would most likely use her force powers rather than duel him with a blade. I think it would turn out similar to yoda vs palpatine in revenge of the sith.

"magic is only illusion"
Say guy who use force
Sad that we never got to see her duel with Sidious, Dooku and Grievous. The Nightsisters are such a cool faction.
She dueled sidious in a comic book. They engaged in a force battle and for a time stood equal ground. But then dooku joined in and maul joined. She was able to sheiks off their lighting while saving her son. She sacrificed herself to save maul.
@@jeshuatorres3250yeah but tbh she was absolutely blasting sidious in the 1 vs 1.

Hey do you guys have any rat poison lying around? PUT IT IN THE TEA! HE WILL DRINK IT PUT THE RAT POISON IN THE TEA!
Darth Tyrannus would know if she poisoned it. Sith have foresight.
She needs her own show 😭😭😭
If they made her a character on a game or night sister in general in SWTOR, I would be in heaven 😌
Her voice actress did so freaking awesome 😎
“A pawn in the dangerous game between…” “Master Kenobi” 😂😂
Quite a few homages to the Bene Gesserit here. Water of life. And Mother Talzin's voice sounds like Mother Mohiam's in the 2000 Dune miniseries.
Okay, so lately, I've been on a Power Rangers high and I just looked up. Talzin is voiced by Barbara Goodson, who did the voice half for Rita Repulsa (the live action half being Machiko Soga).
Gaia from god of war
Mother Talzin is my absolute fav❤️❤️❤️
Merrin could be the next Mother... They just need to write out Kata Akuna and Cere's last line takes on a whole new meaning... Merrin is Cal's mara Jade though... Much story to unfold
If she could duel with mace windu and hold her own I wonder why she did not fight General Grievous. Plot armor :(
She realized all was lost.
Cuz Grievous>Mace in dueling.
likely due to the fact there was not enough information on their enemy's combat potential aside from the drones, especially since Grievous is incredibly famous and known for killing jedi. Its better to overestimate than underestimate since if she accidentally underestimated him that would've been the end for the Nightsisters. Better to confirm a future than continue a worrysome present
@@glitchedbox611 Mace Windu was superior than Grevious
She’s only really a minor antagonist cuz she don’t do much , she stays in her lair but what makes her antagonist is because she helped darth maul
She also tried to sacrifice a notable politician to gain force power. Rather villainous.
Shame we never got to see her end 😭
actually i think that happens in the son of dathomir comics, which would've made for amazing clone wars episodes if the rest of season 6 didn't get screwed over by disney
I think that's for the better. Didn't like her death at all. I prefer it when her fate remains unknown.
There is a canon end for her in the comics
Basically she is fighting off Palpatine and Dooku with her magic shield, but Grievous passes through it like the terminator and skewers her with two lightsabers
@@aitipsea3909that is correct.
lol i stabbed her
Mother Talzin is like a female Darth Sidious
Except, she actually cared for her people.
@@JabamiLain And was a Mom
Can we mention that she held her own in a duel with windu
Mother Talzin was an interesting character to watch in the Clone Wars saga
Definitely one of my favourite Star Wars characters
To think that Talzin is actually Maul and Savage’s mother
And Feral. Maul and Feral used to live together in the same house among Talzin.
Man she should’ve been a live action villain. We have nightsisters in ahsoka so I hope we see them use the power in a fight
The Nightsisters make me think of the Bene Gesserit
All those deep voice lines would give her a headache!
Am I the only one that sees how similar the nightsisters of Dathomir are to the Bene Gesserite of Dune right to the Reverend mother.
No, a few people have noticed that. Mother Talzin's voice even sounds like Mother Mohiam in the 2000 SyFy miniseries. And Talzin's "double voice" sounds like the original effects for The Voice used in David Lynch's movie.

When u have Carrots in hand slot in minecraft and pig see u
Mother Talzin is everything Sidious would want to be and more
Witch vs Sith Lord 😁. Dooku will be die if Mother Talzin finished her mantra
Although people may hate the prequel movies, the characters that were created from it are some of my favourites in the franchise. I really want to see Mother Talzin come back in a live action tv series.
IMO the prequels were good ,the first could have been better but still it was a part of the story and it was sad to see Anakin fall to the dark side.
In the comic 📕, mother Talzin gets killed by general Grevious, after maul escapes from count Dooku and Sidious, before season 7.
Yeah, after defending against sith lightning from two extremely powerful sith lords at the same time and getting snuck up on by Grevious after she had previously thrown him off a cliff with a swipe of her hand.
@@taviondavis1293 actually it was maul who pushed grievous off the cliff. While he was distracted as well; the two were having a pretty good fight before hand
17:15 the sword of talzin appearance
I want to Change Fate Itself where Merrin still has nine hundred gigillion more sisters in the galaxy born at the exact same time as NightSister Merrin.
5:00 👀😳😏
I Think Think darth nihlius is reborn Some mother talzin
Barbara Goodson voices Talzin
So if she’s Rita, who’s the Star Wars equivalent of Lord Zedd? Palpatine?
Warcraft!Naga Sea Witch Lady Vashj
I hope in the next live action series, since three mothers have returned to Dathomir, Talzin gets resurrected somehow. She was amazing
For some reason the speed of the animation in that last ark made it feel like video game cut scenes to me am I crazy
12:27 The only time we ever hear Dooku scream high pitch
I don't know why, but when I see her, she figures my mother-in-law, lol
Only 1 member of the Night Sisters and a few Night brothers survived the clone wars.
Who else comes here for asmr from talzen?
It make me wonder, if Savajj was a baby when she left Dathomir, how does she remember where she come from? And really, the entire planet is populated only by one village of Night sisters and one village of Night brothers?
8:11 I really don't get her endgame here, why does she help Opress? Didn't he, like, betray Ventress? Does she really think that let him loose is good for her clan? She play on so many boards, it's hard to get what she want.
8:49 And here...
6:28 Its just funny how she just cuts the narrator's voice off!😂😂
Awesome sisterhood👍.
What is creepy demonic echoing voice?
I want to know too! Is it a spirit that gives her the power to manifest in the physical world?
@@Frappelychee The Spirits
Until the eu became legends, I used to think that it was piece of the soul of Sith alchemy master of the Great Hyperspace war Naga Sadow who created the magic the the nightsisters use 5000 years before the clone wars.
@@khylerbane4523
What...? Dathomir Witch magick is mixing old Jedi teachings with the regional Shamanism, Naga Sadow has nothing to do with them.
Talzin gave her all the tools & Ventress still failed. She was talented but still a failure. Her rage was her down fall.
Magic wand! Make my Savage Opress Grow!
Mother Talzin, you look bewitching.
Honestly, if this animation studio took on Warhammer 40k imagine how fucking amazing they could make Necrons, that green concentrated dark energy is just amazing!
FINALLY
I do hope that they will bring back Mother Talzin in the Ahsoka TV series with Barbara Goodson back in the role BUT in live action!!!
It would be hilarious to speculate that the first sentence Mother Talzin will say is "Ah! After ten thousand years, I have returned! It's time to take back the galaxy, Grand Admiral Thrawn!"
"Nightsisters know the dark side better than anyone. We grow up steeped in it, but we can use it as a tool and stay ourselves-unlike the Sith."
- Asajj Ventress, "Dark Disciple"
I never believed that Nightsisters were not as bad as Sith.

Also, sorry if I sounded harsh earlier. You can share canon material with me, as long as it's not related to the sequels, the "High Republic (?)" comic... Pretty much anything that sucks story and character wise, not to mention contradict key stuff.
Mother Talzin is more powerful than sidious and thats a fact
06:59 “The time has come…” for you to lip synch for your life! And don’t F it up! 😂
Ventress: "So, wise Mother, you lured Dooku alone on Dathomir without anyone knowing his whereabouts. This shaded world amplifies our strengths. You had good count drink the witch draught that could easily be poisoned, debilitating him. Why didn't we kill him right here, instead of confronting him in Serenno where he is surrounded by Separatist armies?"
Talzin: "Ah, sister, you see that is easily explained... well, it must be that... surely it... well... huh. Actually, I have no idea. That sounds much easier than what I had planned. I could have easily aided you in killing or capturing him, you know how powerful I am? And Dooku was previously captured by pirates."
Ventress: "Idiots!"
Dookus plot armor 😮
They need to make an two part episode of how she and maul fought dooku and sidious
Not ideal, considering she has would have no loyalty/obedience to Sidious over the Nightsisters and the rule of Two requires obedience until betrayal.
Imagine how powerful talzin would've been
He choose maul because he was never a really apprentice
a "bad bitch" indeed
The way she 1v1'd windu and lived to tell the tale. Even palpy needed help to not die to Windu. If only plot armor was on her side she could have ripped palpy a new one
why not just use a lethal poison with the dart in the first place lol
Plot Armor, since Dooku is in Episode 3
For the people who doesn't know, she dies at the hands of Grievous once Maul was captured and tortured by Darth Sidious
Imagine...if these were the witches we got in the acolyte
Am i the only one that like Her Voice with the background, makes you believe there is something stronger in her.
Fun Fact: The Voice actress of Talzin was Barbara Goodson, the Voice of Rota Repulza in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers
It's spooky how their markings resemble darth nihilus 💀
She's so strong even sidious is scared of her still hands her kids out to people though
What if Fight Talzin vs Yoda??
If she could stalemate palpatine then it’s possible she could do the same with yoda. I think yodas only advantage over her is his skills with a lightsaber. But knowing talzin she would most likely use her force powers rather than duel him with a blade. I think it would turn out similar to yoda vs palpatine in revenge of the sith.
