  • High quality PCB Services pcbway.com In this video I’m showing you how to connect an eMMC WFBGA153 flash memory chip to a standard microSD card interface using the adapter PCB I designed. This can be used for data recovery purposes or for building a custom storage device using inexpensive flash memory chips.

Yes please I'd like to see how you do that soldering! Not because I anticipate ever needing to myself but a) you never know and b) I'm just interested in that kind of stuff!

Wow. So, in reality, there is no reason why TVs today couldn't be configured to use a removable form of the eMMC chip so that if one ever failed, it could be easily replaced in the field by an end-use or by a field tech. Very interesting! Thank you for this great video. Really well done.

Show us how you soldered that chip without a stencil?

BGA soldering would be interesting to see. Especially without a stencil.

    I love your English vocabulary

Great video - but question - which PCB thickness did you use? - Micro SD cards are 0.7mm , PCBWay has only 0.6 and 0.8 mm PCB's! Thankyou

Do you know if this will read the BGA 153 emmc chips of Nintendo Switch including 32 and 64G versions using linux to dump the boot0, boot1 and rawnand partions?

Do e-MMC chips have standard pins function assignment or it's not specific?

  • @uchodzcazarobkowy850

Hi, if your PCBs work with UFS 3.0 chips? Like for example samsung S20's flash chip?

  • @t-akethatsotherchannel5792

how can i put it on the adapter? It does not fit to the adapter where two lines with connectors are!

  • @Kelprop

Could this work with ugs bga 95?
