@@arkiteasy ive found the channel years ago when I was new to Revit. most tutorials in youtube are sped up or too long and unstructured unlike yours which are in-depth and straight to the point! thank you for sharing your knowledge! your channel has been my go to for Revit along with the free learning/training platform. 😀
Great, so you follow our progress here as well. I’m really putting effort to uncover useful and practical topics and it’s good that more and more people are recognising it 😁
I think it would be better to create a line based family with voids, then create the ceiling with the edges constrained to the walls. Place the line based family directly on the ceiling edges (this way, the heights of both will always be the same without needing a global parameter). The only extra step would be to use the cut tool to generate the void in the ceiling. Cons: Voids slow down Revit's performance.
too easy to understand , best channel Revit tutorial !
Thanks a lot, so happy to hear that 😊
I've never really seen another channel demonstrate Revit as skillful and concise as you do. 💯
Thank you, this really means me a lot and it’s a real boost of motivation to continue forward 😊

excelent tip at the end! thank you!
You’re welcome 😊 you can use Global Parameters for a lot of things, not only for this 😉
Very nice .... thank you 😊
You’re welcome Nadeem :)
Cool😎, thanks for the tips
I appreciate your comment! It’s always rewarding to know that the tips are helping. More tutorials are on the way 😉

Which at the end means that this method I showed is better 😉
