Brad Blanco Brad...I'd love to hear Dani sing "So Small" in the near future too...The thing that is remarkable is that the video you are talking about is 2 years old which means she had just turned 16 so to hear it sing it now would be on a scale of 1-10, a 20!
May i also remind everyone ...because it is easy to get caught up in her vocal talents that this is a recording of her playing LIVE ....after spending months on a road tour that most professional singers and performers would never attempt simple because its impossible to do without collapsing at some point. Danielle and her band just seem to get better and better. LIVE performances are the true test ....the only thing you can truly judge talent as far as i am concerned. No limit to Danielle's success.
Brent Davidson While I get what you are saying Brent and so do most of us regulars know all to well, I do believe that most if not all new artists go through just what Danielle is going through but I will admit that Danielle sure seems to be everywhere lately...I know my Danielle fix that I have gotten the last 2 or 3 days is bubbling along quite nicely....lol
Beth Hart can do any genre in music and has the advantage of being able to pour on the power to get past the loudness found in the instruments in hard rock. A 100W Marshall with a 4X12 cabinet can drown out most pop singers, but not her. She is also a brilliant writer and pianist. There should be more versatile singers since too many pop singers have a voice for one genre so they basically sing the same song (except for the words) over and over again.
Said it before, and I'll say it again. This is an incredible natural talent. One in a million. I saw her first Opry performance in Nashville, and she makes every live performance sound better than a studio recording. Plus, she is just so doggone beautiful and likeable. I'll buy anything she releases.

BIG MACHINE ! The pop songs are cool given her age but this kid is no pop star. She's meant for the big stuff and even the mature stuff that is beyond her years. She's our Adelle and our Florence. This performance proves it. This is her wheel house. Big Macine! Think bigger.
I agree about her clothes it would make a big difference, but I don't see it happening since she said she's more of a tomboy and likes bohemian type clothes. She's more Miranda type clothes wise.
She is a teenager and this is what teenagers wear. She is at summer festival, not at the Grammy's. When warranted, she has always dressed the part! Check out her attire for the Momorial Day a Veterans Concert in Washington. She looks stunning. Let her be a teenager and just listen to her beautiful voice!

If you haven't seen her vids on youtube covering pop songs, check out "HUMAN' and "STAY". You'll see just what I mean. She is so much more than the sloppily dressed teenager you see at those country fair shows, and "I" think she should look the part whenever she performs. She's ON STAGE MAN not in her bedroom with some school friends. But, that's just my opinion.

She reminds me of a blonde Jana Kramer. (Which isn't a bad thing) Even her mannerisms remind me of Jana live.
