All I was looking for was the average size loft for 2 pigeons and i found answers and tricks for so many things! Love the videos your setup is absolutely awesome!
Great body of work brother. I enjoy listening to you drop jewels upon the people. Also, I have a question for you... do you sell your birds/breeders, and what's the most expensive bird you have, and what makes that bird(s) worth its worth?
Heyy love your videos I'm wondering when you say 16% protein pellets, are you referring to the common layer pellets of chickens that are 16% is it a special pellet for pigeons?
How do you deworm your pigeons or more importantly how do you treat them yearly or monthly so to prevent worms in your birds? 2nd question where do you buy your feed bags? the names brands of the bags too if possible. I like the standard mix
Hey Sam, how many individual breeding boxes do you have in your loft and are they all full of breeders? With that many birds it seems like a part time job just taking care of them. Do you sell birds and if so I wold love to get a pair of white bar from you.
arturo gonzalez thanks Arturo yes they will breed all year round I don't recommend breeding all year round as it will burn out your bird faster and they may not produce anything in their older years
Do you feed your flyer grits? If so how much? I was told by many other guys that never feed grits to flyer. Some say only a small amount of grits for flyer. Would like to know your opinion. Thanks
dannyboii44 birds are sexually mature at about six months you should probably wait until they're at least a year before you breed them at least the females when the males are ready to mate you can breed them at the females you want to give him a little more time
dannyboii44 as far as flying the young birds you want to remove them from the nest when you look under their wing and you can see no skin they are fully feathered about that time the parents stop feeding them put them in your kit box usually about three weeks you can start letting them out make sure when you let them out they are very hungry and haven't had any water that day after about three weeks of letting them fly about without scaring them you can start to scare them up a little
dannyboii44 as soon as you get the bird out of the nest they're fully feathered under the wings you should put them in a kit box and start to train it should take you about three weeks to get them flying depending on conditions how you feed them most birds are fully mature and ready to breed at six months of age I like to wait at least a year before I breed my birds but you can read them in about 8 months without a problem
do you release your breeding birds daily or they are in the cage for whole breeding season? what is the best for breeders should we realse them or not?
Great question here in California we don’t release our breeders but I think it would be nice to release them if there wasn’t a chance that we could lose them
@@therollerpigeonevolutionsm7763 please post some interviews and question and answer sessions they are really helpful. good going thanks for the reply love from India
Michael Lopez excellent question Michael the answer is now due to my space constraints I stuck to that size but if I had more space I would make them a little bigger in width and a little taller my nesting bowls would be stacked one on top another with a shelf between them instead of side-by-side giving the bird more room to mate but the overall design would be the same just a little bigger
Michael Lopez One more thing I would probably illuminate the bottom row of individuals all together because it's far too difficult to bend down and feed and water them
Ricardo Gomez yes Ricardo I will do a video exclusively about the blue star family and its origins thank you for your support make sure you hit like subscribe and ask more questions because you only know what you know
1. What is the brand of pellets that you use? I have found that different brand pellets can have all kinds of different ingredients. 2. What size hole do you drill in the food container?
Andrew Knox the problem is that there are no pigeon breeders in the state which I live in,the breeders are in other states and there are only pet shops in my vicinity

Sam,
If you were going to rebuild your individual breeder boxes, would you stay with the same dimensions 24"Wx24"Dx16"H?

Do you need to hand feed the youngsters or do the parents feed them? Also how do the parents feted them?
Both the parents feed the babies. The parents regurgitate the feed, that's how the babies are fed.
Hi, my birds don’t eat pellets how i make them eat pellets, I kept them hungry too give them pellet but they didn’t eat it even when they’re hungry
1. What is the brand of pellets that you use? I have found that different brand pellets can have all kinds of different ingredients.
