That flowering tea is beautiful! I love your recommendations--such a great variety! I have a carry-over book from April called The Misses Mallett by E.H. Young with flowers on the cover. In May, I'm definitely going to read Never Too Late by Angela Thirkell and then I have too many other options! I'm excited to pick up more as the month goes on.
I also have "carry-over"books but they don't have flowers on the cover. I didn't plan that well! I'm looking forward to your mini reviews on your choices as I am not familiar with Never Too Late.
I didn’t know this was happening here on Booktube, but perfect timing. I just started filming a spring vlog reading books with flowers on the cover. 🌸 Thanks for all these great recommendations!
I was only recently inspired to create the May Flowers Read Along. I think keeping it simple is important and finding flowers on the cover is a little mini treasure hunt :) I will have to check out your vlog!
I love that you give wholesome recommendations. I enjoy some gothic dark things but particularly with romance, I want wholesome stories. I will be checking out a few of these.
Have you read One Dark Window (first book in the Shepherd King series)? I loved that one. It's dark but not to traumatizing (at least...it wasn't for me!). Thanks for watching :)
Hope you enjoy it! I loved it so much. I find her walk of faith fascinating. Tinker Creek mentions many religions but feels Christian. She converted to Catholicism for a decade but now claims no religion.
I confess to feeling ignorant but I am not familiar with either one. I looked them up and the Garden one seems charming. I don't know if I could read the Cronin book. Tell me if it makes you cry!

@@WilsonHillWorks no I haven’t read it but thank you for the recommendation!
Wonderful recommendations! ♥️ I want to try The Book Charmer and Lud in the Mist. Loooove Goudge! ♥️♥️♥️
Let me know what you think if you try either one!
I’m rereading Pilgrim at Tinker Creek this summer with a friend! ♥️

Great kick-off video! I've chosen The One Hundred Years of Lenni and Margot by Marianne Cronin and Life in the Garden by Penelope Lively. 🙂

@@WilsonHillWorks : Every once in a while I like a good weepie! 😉
