    Hello 👋
    I'm new to Z Cam I just ordered E2-M4 and waiting for delivery, so I already saw this SSD and cfast issue like I was just thinking about it few days ago and now I saw your video on UA-cam. Thanks for this too

      Hey thnx for watching! Yes i started with ssd because i was on a budget. Wish i could invest in a cfast card earlier. Enjoy ur Z - Cam!

    Brother have you tried to write prores to the cfast? I just tried it the other day and noticed it was too slow for it.. that's that mine for 4.2.2... when I tried it in 4.2.0 it wasn't an issue. Please let me know if it's my card being too slow 🐌

    Thanks for the excellent recommendation!
    Do you think - will such a bunch work - box JEYI thunderbolt 3 m. 2 nvme + ssd Samsung 980Pro?

      Hey thanks for watching! I think they will work but i can't say for shure. Try recording high framerates for a long time to test it.

    Will it 'Nitze Universal V/Gold Mount with QR Adapter SSD Holder Compatible with Z Cam' solve the problem? I found it real work well.

      Hey thnx for watching! Yes that is a nice solution but i switched to cfast so i didn't have things sticking out or extra cables on my setup. Now it's just the npf battery and the cfast is 'hidden'.

    how much footage can the 256 gb hold? especially shooting slow motion.

      Hey thanks for watching! It depends on what codec, resolution & fps you use. I usually shoot prores proxy, 4k 25/50 fps and can shoot full promo/musicvideos. But when you use zraw it's only 10 min. Try different settings.

      @@LottacamStudio thanks man! Do you shoot in 50 fps because 60 fps has a crop?

    • @LottacamStudio
      @LottacamStudio  2 роки тому +1

      @@TimandLauren no because i live in the netherlands. In europe we use 25 or 50 fps.

    Please test it on hardcore codecs and max fps and resolution. They said Exascend is the only one.

      Hey thnx for watching! I'll do a field test on that very soon. Stay tuned!

    Does the Z cam have SD card option? Or only SSD and CF

    • @LottacamStudio
      @LottacamStudio  3 роки тому +1

      Hey thnx for watching! No, only ssd and cfast.

    No way. SSD's are multifunctional and more affordable compared to CF cards.

      Hey thanks for watching! Yess your right. Took me a long time before i invested in a cfast because of the prices but i just didn't like the ssd attached on the rig. Still use SSD as backup though.

      @@LottacamStudio I’m considering CF Cards too, but they’re too expensive hehe

    Some advice, 90% of a talking head video like this is audio. Constantly rubbing metal objects together in a untreated room sounds absolutely terrible and is made ten times worse when someone is watching with headphones. Next time, I suggest shooting some b-roll of the items attached rather than awkwardly sliding them against each other.
