That was such an encouraging comment. I got my permit, but it expired and now I need to try again. (I was a little too nervous about driving and bussy to drive for a while, but was getting the hang of it.) I passed it that one time because of these videos. I love how you talked about your adhd, anxiety and autism because I have adhd, dyscalculia and dyslexia. I have been wanting to drive for so long but its so hard with out videos like these! I feel like they are much more helpful than written online tests for our unique leaning styles. Congrats!
Currently having a breakdown on how I can’t pass the test (even after a few fails) and my sound is off, so I’m saving what I can to hopefully learn better since my classes didn’t do much for me but feel completely hopeless. If anyone is out there feeling the same way, at least I’m not alone and I hope you can make it out of this slump like me 🤙 I’ll come back to the video in the morning and focus from there, I can tell even without sound you take a great deal into explaining. Which is what I need for this :(

A loaded trailer is traveling at 55 mph on the highway and needs to stop for traffic, What's the minimum distance it needs to come to a complete stop? Apparently, the correct answer was 325 ft. I chose 1025 ft since it was the biggest number given which made sense logically for me. Other options were 245 & 815. Is there an explanation or formula?

Honestly they ask all these questions at least for me I would say try to remember as much as u can I failed all three times because I knew a couple things but not everything the most important things to remember are like what kind of lights you should use during different scenarios but yea I would say just try your best to study I only studied 3 full days and didn’t pass all 3 times because I was impatient now I have to wait 2 weeks to take it again so hopefully by then I’ll know everything but I hope u can pass first try unlike me

However, please be sure to read your states DMV handbook for the most accurate info - especially in regards to alcohol and drug rules. Often times, the legal alcohol limits vary state to state. I know that you get your picture taken for your permit, but I heard that the picture taken for your permit can be used for your actual driver's liscense photo if you come back and successfully get your liscense. Is this true? Thanks! (FYI, I'm over 18 and live in California.)
Hi there! Yes, the picture that is taken for the permit is the same one they will use for your license. If it has been over a year since your permit expired you will need to retake the picture. Hope that helps!

Of course, glad to help! Once you pass your driving test, they will have you go to the counter to submit the paperwork showing that you passed. At that time, you want to let the agent know that you need a new picture taken. There will be a $45.00 charge unless there is something wrong with the photo.
