Talk about impressive... These people at fuel tech are absolutely the type of people you want to be paying for this shit!! Worth every penny!! As a software engineer and gear head, I find this absolutely intriguing watching their troubleshooting skills and working together as a team to find a solution. No yelling, no finger pointing, no crying. Just a group of highly intelligent people putting solving the problem above themselves and their ego's... Makes me want to work for Fuel tech!!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘
More men need to take notes from Jeff. So many of us could/would do better in life if we humble ourselves&admit we NEED help from other’s. There’s never any shame in asking/seeking help in life! Weather it be for a race car or a marriage...we’d all do better if we just seek the help we need🙏🏽🤙🏽
I can say this,, it is ALWAYS FUN to listen to Luis verbalize what's going on in his head,, he walks us thru it - step by step - how his mind works to solve the issue and then direct what is needed to achieve resolution.
As much as I love Holley (I have tuned 50+ Holley EFI on Motorcycles so far), I am *thankfully* confident that FuelTech won't try to become a huge corporation (trying to dominate the "PARTS supply market") like Holley is doing...
Congrats to Jeff and FuelTech for getting it all sorted out... Very impressive... Since I'm NOT Jeff Lutz, I'm wondering what that many days cost... Jeff is gonna be tough if he can get it to hook up.. Such a Top Notch build...
I got to meet Jeff and his son with my dad at Buffalo Motorama a few years back with the two 57 chevys. Really awesome guys, once in a lifetime experience
WHAT A REAL TREAT, watching Lutz Jr. learning some tech tips from other tuners. He always works hard for the family team. His good work allows his Father to SHINE like a diamond 💎. Great job Team Lutz! Anyway, thanks for the video 📸.
NOW thats what i'm talking about !! best short vid yet, great people brain storming , great service, brilliant product and most of all -sometimes things don't go to plan .
This is what i love to see, luis the head of the company steps in and he instantly HAS to fugure it out and he knows his shit, making his guys look like rookies
@RustyWells2 obviously but you get what i mean you can tell louis has so much more experience and critical thinking, it urked him to the point where he was gonna figure it out no matter what
Urked? @selPerformance What I saw was Luis simply going about his regular routine (on a mission) to diagnose, find and eliminating the issue(s), one step at a time...
This was such a good watch. Love to see problems (not that I want Jeff Lutz to have problems, he's one of my favourite racers), and love to see them get solved! Fueltech are just an amazing bunch!
The behind the scenes talking is absolutely amazing! I love it. Listening to Jeff talk about how and what he had to do to convert the car to street trim and now how much easier it is. This is why FuelTech can charge whatever price they want for parts and tuning. Because they get shit done and done the right way! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 💪🏼
Ive never seen a car pull the front tires while on a dyno. If there were no straps on the front end at all we would be watching mad max turned upside down and on its lid in under a second.
With the tire shake those big tire cars were having on those glued Radial prep tracks at sick week it’s not really surprising that they broke something, I’m glad that they were able to work together and fix it
Your comparing Apples to a Water Mellon. Steve's car has a ProMod Chassis under, inside "mostly stock, STEEL body parts". Steve literally used to take his kids to school that Wagon...
Another thing just watch around your shop, when they're redoing the roads are on there. If they're milling up the asshole, grinding it up whatever a lot of times they look for places to dump at that are close. If you see any guys doing that close by you, go ask the Foreman to dump it at your place. And that stuff is great for making driveways and parking lots. And especially it's free , it's awesome
hey guys sorry for my ignorance, can you explain to me "sneezing at the intake"? is this a safety instance where the gates and bov's open with an ignition cut during safety parameters?
Taking nothing away from Bret, his car is amazing and refinened to the fullest, but you can't say its embarrassing to get beat by a car that has 100's of laps when you built a car in a week and showed up untested...
I have always preferred underdogs (Ford vs Chevy, Kawasaki vs Suzuki) and I think what Bret accomplished is *awesome* but, pretty much all of the "Large Slicks" cars had issues launching on the "Radial Prepped" tracks = if it was the other way around (tracks not radial prepped) there would have been "more than one 5-second cars" and there's no way Brett would have gone as quick as he did...
Yup! 50 to 60 runs & you throw it all away! Lutz has been running those same engines for over 10yrs! He probably has less in the big blocks, then what your boy has tied up in one ford engine 🙄🙄🙄🙄! Lutz also still has small old 88s on it! It also makes way more power than what was shown!
Talk about impressive... These people at fuel tech are absolutely the type of people you want to be paying for this shit!! Worth every penny!! One of the things about Lutz that I appreciate is the fact that he is willing to admit when he needs help.
Jeff is always takin’ in all the knowledge he can, and knows to delegate to the experts. Sets him apart from the shit talkers.
Idt he has a choice in this situation
Yes he knew there was a problem he did not understand and where to go to get help to get it sorted. These Brazilians are impressive!
He's a class act . Think allot of of Jeff and Jeffrey .
Who can't not like Jeff lutz he works hard
I can say this,, it is ALWAYS FUN to listen to Luis verbalize what's going on in his head,, he walks us thru it - step by step - how his mind works to solve the issue and then direct what is needed to achieve resolution.
Jeff is a national treasure, keep him over 200mph at all cost, thanks to his son also!🇺🇸💚🏁
What a absolute treat seeing all of the brainstorming going on between everyone in a effort to resolve all of the troubles 👌🏻
Hub dyno is the only way to go. Very professional shop.
Fuel tech makes me think theyre the next Holley. Just dominating the market with the product and the quality of that product.
As much as I love Holley (I have tuned 50+ Holley EFI on Motorcycles so far), I am *thankfully* confident that FuelTech won't try to become a huge corporation (trying to dominate the "PARTS supply market") like Holley is doing...

Watch out for Lutz next season. Looks like the gremlins have been eradicated... This was such a an amazing video to watch!!!!! 😧😧😧😧
NOW thats what i'm talking about !!
best short vid yet, great people brain storming , great service, brilliant product and most of all -sometimes things don't go to plan .
jeff lutz i love the way you do everything with your family i can tell you are a good man you make me proud to be an american
This is what i love to see, luis the head of the company steps in and he instantly HAS to fugure it out and he knows his shit, making his guys look like rookies
There's no rookies working at FuelTech!
@RustyWells2 obviously but you get what i mean you can tell louis has so much more experience and critical thinking, it urked him to the point where he was gonna figure it out no matter what

He narrowed in on the problem with a good faulty finding strategy and a complete understanding of the system.
I enjoyed the video... Ive seen the Fueltech guys in another video and they seem like a good group of guys for sure subscribed
Cool as hell to see Jeff's wild ass'd hotrod get the FULL MEAL DEAL from team FuelTech!
All that knowledge in one room. The Lutz's and the Fueltech guys are amazing to watch.
Fuel Tech is in Ball Ground Ga , right down the street from Pro Line race engines.
Were they in the same building at one point?
É nossos amigos brasileiros da fuel tech sempre dando aquela força e nois.
Brasileiros e americanos juntos são demais
So fun watchin this stuff, smart people figuring things out is awesome!
Great video guys, awesome work 👌Watching from Australia, love that car and Jeff is a absolute legend 👍
Love Luztz! Great guy!
What a great video !! Awesome watching Mad Max pull the wheels and run through the gears. Many , many thanks for this one.
That hot side exhaust is DAYMN Son!!! The Jeff's a Pair knocked it out a there on that cool as hell design and fabrication!!
This was such a good watch. Love to see problems (not that I want Jeff Lutz to have problems, he's one of my favourite racers), and love to see them get solved! Fueltech are just an amazing bunch!

Crazy power !
That was just awesome but now have to wait to see him on a track at a drag and drive event I can hardly wait.
Fueltech The Best! 🏁🏁🏴☠️🏴☠️🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
"Street driven pro-mod" best description. Never claims to be a street car. Just a pro-mod that he drives on the street
Absolutely amazing!! These guys love this shit you can tell by the way they act. Genius 😎
Man that Brazalero knows what his talking about.
Fuck yeah!! She's a bad bitch!!! Big Block Chevy powaaa!!!!!🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲💪💪💪💪
All these guys rock!
Yall are Much Deeper into all this than i care to venture !!! Lordy !!!
This was just a good video all you can say
Thing of beauty Jeff sweeeeeeet
Excellent Trouble shooting skills guys.
Brilliant 💪💪👍
Ive never seen a car pull the front tires while on a dyno. If there were no straps on the front end at all we would be watching mad max turned upside down and on its lid in under a second.
Nice job boys!
Muito bom.
Abraços pra todos , do Sul.
Awesome
Top notch
❤🔥
Pulling the front tires on the hub dyno. Scary sh*t.
With the tire shake those big tire cars were having on those glued Radial prep tracks at sick week it’s not really surprising that they broke something, I’m glad that they were able to work together and fix it
Jeff runs high 5s low 6s only 3k whp were Steve Morris runs 630ish with 4300 hp amazing
Your are not looking at the weight and areo factor of pro mod vs factory steel wagon body...
Your comparing Apples to a Water Mellon. Steve's car has a ProMod Chassis under, inside "mostly stock, STEEL body parts".
Steve literally used to take his kids to school that Wagon...
Have him show up at NPK events and see how he does. Chuck Lawrence builds N/A mountain motor Hemis making 2000 HP running the quarter at 6.0 at 230+ !
Yeahhh
Never thought you would need wheelie bars on a hub dyno 🤣
Another thing just watch around your shop, when they're redoing the roads are on there. My bad, it was supposed to say asphalt not asshole sorry about that
Louis is as good as you get. Fuel Tech is the best . What engine are you running , doesnt look like a proline BAE ??
Let’s double the horsepower now! Twin turbo 632 BBC.
I like that Max is now yellow
what was the sneezing issue?
I'm curious also. If you seen the PFI speed video with Lutz and the GTO, they also mentioned a primary/secondary injector issue.
Injector bank was cutting out
@JairusJ I think they were wondering the why/what was causing the injector bank shutting down.
Jeff builds most of his own cars
anderson needs to do the raceweek with the cuda
Will you PLEASE Level the dyno monitor? My OCD is going NUTSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So the problem was an injector driver for one the sets of injectors?
If a problem is repeatable its solved! And where would we be without all that data?
hey guys sorry for my ignorance, can you explain to me "sneezing at the intake"? is this a safety instance where the gates and bov's open with an ignition cut during safety parameters?
The engine was shutting off so all of the boost was coming back out the turbo inlets
When the tech is so far over your head as a racer, just one glitch and you're back on the trailer.
Brasil 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
So if I order a shirt will it have that great smell already!!
Be so happy when your shirt comes in that it makes your eyes water immediately. 😅
Did they say what was wrong?
👏👏👏
showwwwwwww de video!!!!!!!
Talk about Nice Downpipes lol
❤ lutz but brett lasala lil 5.0 coyote keeps up with this this big block..😂
Fueltech USA… podia ter legendas em português né?!?!?
There sweat shirts are in the same room as dyno. The dirt and dust exhaust would kill them clean shirts. Just saying. West virgina mike said so
You should do a Duramax swap into one
What was the issue?
Appreciate: privilege '°°%
Lucky there wasnt a coyote in the building. Would have pooped itself again.
👍👍👍🍥🍙🍥🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭
Primeiro😂😂
First reply😂
Too much stuff
Old silicon lutz. Lutz was sued over hiding shitty welds with silicon, he put racers lives in danger doing that shit.
Not a street car without Factory AC.
Sorry, I’ve owned and ‘refreshed’ 10 or 11 autos (1940 to 1966) that never came with AC
@@paleggett1897 Ha Ha, this is 2024
Trying to find enough power to beat the actual street car that embarrassed him.
Taking nothing away from Bret, his car is amazing and refinened to the fullest, but you can't say its embarrassing to get beat by a car that has 100's of laps when you built a car in a week and showed up untested...

there would have been "more than one 5-second cars" and there's no way Brett would have gone as quick as he did...
@KCadbyRacing what won last year?
Jeff trying to run as consistent as Brett maybe he should build himself a real car mustang getting it done Ford power forever baby
Coyote got dat ass at the track son!@brianholcomb6499
Facts Ford > Chevy
Coyotes are taking over the game!
Jeff is just like the rest of the 405 crew he’s a big joke
MAD MAX (car) was a FORD, not a piece of SH^T CHEVY !
