Everyone talking about how depressing this is (it IS) but I’m so proud of how Greg finally beat his toxic personality and got the help he needed and changed as a person and started a new life
The part that hit hard for me was when Greg didn't try talking to Rodrick at all seeing as how he thought he would screw up his perfect life, Rodrick always picked on Greg but was still his brother yet, Greg didn't dare try to ruin Rodrick's life even if it wasn't on purpose.
I genuinely think this is the perfect dark fanfic. It covers a lot of bases, grounded in reality as this could happen to anyone, and gets more depressing and terrifying the longer it goes on.
This is my favorite DOAWK fanfiction. It’s so well written and has a coherent plot. It makes you feel something. Like it seems like it could be an actual book.

If it were its own property I don't think people would've found it funny (but it's completely okay that it’s a fanfic, and not the author's fault people don't take fanfic seriously.
