This is exactly what I needed to hear for myself. One person unexpectedly came into my life, and we got really close. However, she was hesitant to commit because I found out she had a situationship in the past, which has been preventing her from developing feelings for someone else. Her not exploring other options has been killing me and really hurting me. As you mentioned, I need to start loving myself and making myself a priority.
