Just when I think the pre-game banter can NOT get any more silly and completely inconsequential, here we are. I thoroughly enjoy Sid's seething , bubbling animosity as Troy continues to push the Christmas button.

Rules boy saves the day with the attack of opportunity.
The new Disarm is actually very good. The enemy takes the -2 to all their attacks until they spends an action to regrip. BTW that is a manipulate action, so it triggers Reactive Strikes.
Its effectively a sidegrade to Trip because of the chance of Neutering the enemy if you Crit.
Its a great add if the party wants to subdue a humanoid enemy.
If you Grapple, Trip, and Disarm an enemy they are COMPLETELY boned. It will take them 3 actions minimum to get out, likely actions will be lost attempting to break out of the grapple. While they are grappled they cant stand and have to make a DC5 flat check to regrip their weapon.
All this adds up to saying the Bastion Feat: Disarming Block is absolutely GOD tier now.
Reactive Strikes also interrupts the action causing it to be wasted. So if their AC is reduced, more likely to crit and they'd need a second action just to remove its attack penalty
I hope they mention this comment in the Cannon Fodder!
@@mort0303 Came up in my game, only if it is a manipulate action is it disrupted AND if they take a move action that doesn't actually move them AoO goes off after they complete the action.
Khopeshes don't have the disarm trait, despite the fact that their item description says that they're for disarming.

The bottle cap for making a potion had me flashing back to when Troy gave one out for using magic missile. Really feels like its more of how you do it, than what you do, for Troys bottle caps 😄 Although, timing probable plays in as well, Waiting till Troy is in a good mood 😂
Late to the party, but: Dear Troy, I've had a really tough year, and I love the opening of your November and December shows because sometimes I forget that the greatest time of year is when we think about giving to others and not just giving to ourselves and you remind me of that every time we sit down and listen to any episode of the glass cannon podcast.

Note: When you use Treat Wounds on someone, they become immune to ALL Treat Wounds attempts for an hour. More than once Matt has healed people after Joe failed. You can't do that unless the GM changes it.
Yes this is something they realized in a Cannon Fodder episode a few weeks back, so they do fix this in future eps! It just takes a couple episodes before changes can be seen due to production and such.

I love the Christmas banter! Just last year I sent a clip of the Giantslayer crew singing Auld Lang Syne and yelling Merry Christmas Minderhal to a friend who also watches the GCP. Also helped that our group played through Giantslayer too and get nostalgic about it, so we understood the reference.

Poison in PF2e
Every poison effect will have a duration.
For the case of the dream spider it is 1 round, so you roll the save at the start of spiders turn (after 1 round) has elapsed.
Kinda straight forward but once you get into different poisons with different durations then it gets kinda chunky.

Fuggin a, if I had only listened to this episode last week. The question of ranged attacks triggering AoAs came up in my game on Saturday.
Um Actually ... Treat wounds provides immunity from all treat wounds attempts. A mistake my table has made as well. But it does speed up the narrative so I like the way you all did it for the show.
They address it in cannon fodder! They're aware but they pre recorded a bunch of sessions so it'll take a bit for it to stop happening but they do know 😊

I get why folks want to roll physical dice, but oh wow, rolling on Foundry would make their combats go sooooo much smoother.
I have my foundry setup to auto roll damage on hit. It definitely speeds things up a ton.

I checked, and y'all are wrong about when a condition updates. It's at the start or end of a creature's turn, just like with persistent damage.
In better news, Disarm is getting a buff in the Remaster! But gosh, Sidney should have Tripped after Disarming! Her plan was _fantastic_ and would have given him a huge pair of debuffs, and everybody pressured her out of it. Which, you know, she killed the guy anyways, so it worked out. But still!

The khopesh is not Agile, so Lucky's attack after the Disarm should have been at -5 not -4. It is a moot point because a 23 would have likely been successful as well.

There are several things about PF 2E that remind me of D&D 5E in a bad way. However, it also seems to be pretty deadly if the rolls go bad, so that's great. I can see that PF 2E is kind of a bridge between 5E and OSR (which I love). So I'm glad I chose to watch this.
Also, I'm going through some stuff at work that is stressful as hell (I can't overstate how stressful it is), and watching this has made me laugh several times every episode, which is a huge relief, even if just for a few minutes. Thank you!
The most annoying "learn" on the march instrument is bagpipes.

feel like Lucky is losing out on her crits. LIke 10 damage should be minimum on a critical hit.

Only if you max strength. Lucky could be entirely or mostly dex based, so 10 would be entirely average.
