Felix Kurz graduated from the 54th programme in 2018 and works at KfW Development Bank in Frankfurt. He manages projects on Afghanistan and Pakistan.
The Postgraduate Programme at IDOS offers highly qualified Master's graduates comprehensive and individual training for starting a career in international cooperation.
Together with academics from current research and practice, the eighteen participants on the programme develop key knowledge and skills in development policy and sustainability. Topics such as climate justice, poverty research, social cohesion, migration, megatrends, biodiversity, ecological structural policy and much more will be discussed. The United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the implementation of the 2030 Agenda are just as much a part of the programme. The aim is to understand global future and development issues and to help shape them through policy advice at political decision-making level.
In addition to specialist lectures, group work and individual coaching, the course also includes an interdisciplinary and consultancy-oriented research project with cooperation partners in the Global South.
