Built to be the bodyguard for the Trebuchet, this little beauty can be a real stalwart of the field. I have fond memories of this 'Mech and kind of wish it looked more like its original model instead but its still a great machine to have in your lance.

The AL is the best overall variant in Succession Wars Era gameplay. Replacing the LRM-10 with a pair of LRM-5s and one ton of ammo means more armor👍👌!
I use the cn9-AH it uses 2 ac2, a ams , and a srm 4&2 for steady fire I'm saving up to give it the endo steel frame now anything else I should be wary of with this particular variant
+tucker odonnell Well probably the most common config on the Centurion is the AC/20 build. A decent speed and armour battlemech equipped with a nasty ballistic and a shield arm for better survivability. I would always recommend shooting the right torso on any Centurion.

+tucker odonnell Centurion always worked as a bodyguard on the field, protecting LRM carriers and other heavier support vehicles. So basically run it to support the fat boys and you can get some kills and if not, your damage will be pretty good.

Some say he wears fibro fibrous underwear and some say he makes mech coolant from tang. But we call him "critical Rocket". Wait wrong video. Never mind.
The original model looked weird when I saw it in MW3, but It still felt like a Centurion nonetheless.
I think looking like this makes it much better to look at in my opinion. And the AL variant is the longest Variant I've owned, next to the Centurion A(C).
TheDarkkilla12 It's a nice looking 'Mech. I should bring mine out of storage sometime.
It's a bit on the edge on how useful it can be at times considering the huge power shift players are going now with the Artic Cheetah and better laser boat mechs, now dubbed Cheater by some people.
TheDarkkilla12 Running it stock with the AC/10 LRM10 and 2 medium lasers is a little daunting when you see how much laser spam there is these days. AC/10's need a real change in the game mechanics to make them viable over 20's really.
I managed to take out the lrm 10 and ammo for a bigger engine and extra heat sinks for it. But i still find it just as effective at brawling since that's the role i mostly take for the Centurion A considering the AC10 quirk and the damage.

It's a good brawler in MWO which makes sense since that was sort of it's job to be a bodyguard to Trebuchet 'Mechs. I think it probably suffers from a lack of hardpoints where customisation is concerned.
