I was at this show!!! Fuck yes! It was a Face to Face Concert. Saves the Day opened, and I remember Chris announcing that his other guitar player had a family Emergency and he couldn't make it, but they were going to rock for us anyway. Then New Found Glory played 2nd. And Alkaline Trio played 3rd....Ironic.. Then Face to Face. And I remember Face to Face Being upset because the crowd wasn't doing anything for them, and Alkaline Trio Stole the show from them. I'll never forget it. The singer of Face to face even called the crowd lame because no one was going crazy for them. I like Face to Face, and that sucked for them. But Alkaline Trio deserved the attention. They ROCKED the place!
I saw SAVES THE DAY at St. Andrews with KID DYNAMITE. Must've been 2001 or 2002. Thanks for this upload! Saw many hundreds of good shows at St. Andrews! Great place for shows, except for the stupid barricade.
And now, 20 years later, SAVES THE DAY is still going, with two Detroit guys on guitar & bass. The lineup has changed so many times, Chris is the only consistent member.
