(All my cactus up here in Ontario (3) are houseplants so to see a whole world of them down there is amazing.) Thanks! Mr Peyote he is my man. He dances on my head whenever he can! Just when I think the dance is over, he dances more as the night is over. I laugh, and laugh, and laugh as the waitress looks at me odd in the Dennys but doesn't call the cops. 24 hours. The good old days in Madison Wi on Halloween 35 years ago. Never try to eat someone's red mushroom costume after consuming Peyote. They will not understand.

The strychnine causes you to puke your guts out. It is essentially announcing the trip is starting and if you eating a lot 8-10 you better have someone watching over you cause you will not be in control. It is not, I repeat not a party drug. It does not enhance music. I agree, it is better to do mescaline. in pills if you can find it and know for certain it is real. Better know an organic chemist who makes it from gallic acid. Loved the video, thanks to your videos on botanics and geology i have a much better understanding of the cacti i grow. I don't consider myself a collector because collectors want to collect and have things to brag of and many times don't care if a plant is poached. Aside from cacti i also love caudex and poaching there is horrible, everything is poached and no one wants to have small caudex only big individuals extracted from nature for example what's happening with Stephania species.
P.s: loved the rain at the end of the video, it gave me a good vibe thinking how much all those species needed the water

I'd love to come see this place before and after a rain.
I live in rural Georgia, and that first spring downpour is magical.
The day before everything is so dead and dormant, it's a landscape of brown and grey, except for our pines.
The day after it looks like a completely different place, I don't know how they respond so fast. It's like someone airbrushed shades of green everywhere while we slept.

For a change Tony is varying the videos with stills. Which in terms of production values is a step up. The nice thing about the videos is Tony handling the plants to see distinguishing features. It’s more difficult in stills to find visually plant features for identification. Yet stills offer more clarity about features. This is a conundrum of photography about knowing what’s there. It’s interesting to watch Tony struggle with self expression. The key element of features is how Tony names them. That naming can be very ambiguous in what is what in a photo. Sometimes clarified by drawing lines from words to feature. Never the less humans don’t need such things to know features in the real world. So this struggle for self expression is really exploring what seeing does in the real world.
