I remember this vaguely. They were invited to the festival but because of the Burning Sun scandal some students wanted to ban ikon from performing. Because iKon was already paid and contracts were made they went in to perform, in the beginning you see B.I. Really worried.
The first song came out great and their mics worked really well. Then during my type the sound was turned super low, but iKon is a really talented group and that just highlighted the fact that they ACTUALLY SING LIVE
During Rythm Ta they would turn off the lights for a few seconds, the lighting was terrible
The sound guys keep messing with them
This actually made netizens realize that ikon was a strong group having to deal with the BS.
Either way iKon had tons of fun regardless

Yah the Burning Sun Scandal that Targeted YGE. YGE was really really at a bad state and K Media fucking dig a hole from 2016 targeting Hanbin to press YGE more and push them over the edge and now we lost YG's ace and future who is Hanbin. FUCK ALL K NETZ AND K MEDIA!!!!!!! THEY ARE FUCKING TOXIC. But Hanbin will be back and surely will take over. Hanbin will build his own empire, as gifted as him surely he can. I just hope that he could get the boys out of YGE ans join him. Because srsly, their teamwork is the best I have seen in all of KPop!!!!!!!!!! They are 7!!!! Always 7!!!!!!!!!

Ikon just prooved how professional they are. Haters tried their best to sabotage them, but they forgot when it comes to live performances no one can beat ikon. They don't need fancy concept, Dancers or even mic to hype the audience, them alone are enough.
I feel sad that YG artists are not receiving much support that they deserve because of their companys scandals. I'm still hoping they survive and overcome this kind of discrimination. So much love for this group I cant help but support them, iKOn fighting!
people aren't dumb Ikonics aren't blind. We won't hate on such angels just coz a Company or whatever thing is shit lol. It doesn't have anything to do with them. And even though B.I had that scandal, I have faith he isn't actually a druggie. He is a great leader/brother to 7kon and I respect that.
Actually, YG artists receive so much support from the public coz despite of their company’s scandals, they are still on top. If those scandals happened in other kpop companies, their artists would’ve been affected so much. But with YG, their talent save them everytime. Even those who left yg like B.I and Leehi were still receiving love from fans globally.

Hmm Neb same here, ikon and bigbang are my yg bias groups. I’m a yg stan since 2009 and supports yg artists 100%, but tbh i want ikon to leave yg after their contract ends this 2021. Their aura is not the same anymore since B.I was kicked out of the group. I just want an ikon ot7 debut under another company like PNation, or even better with Tablo or 131vibe if B.I decides to open his own company. I think with their strong brotherhood, this theory is possible. On the other hand, even if we got a new ceo in YG, Yang Hyunsuk still owns the biggest shares in YG. Basically, he’s still the boss. The new ceo is just a front to lessen the magnitude of his scandals and to save the reputation of yge among korean fans. Bcs tbh, international yg fandoms still support all their respective yg groups despite the scandals. The Knetz are the problem here boycotting their own yg groups

I think that was less technical issues and more straight sabotage. For a lesser group it would have been a disaster, but iKON made it work and it backfired on the haters, they must have felt so frustrated!

This is show how professional Ikon is. Even with all the errors happened, they still did their best to hype the crowd and having fun on the stage. Great respect for ikon.

okay so for those who doesn't know the situation here, this was the time when the burning sun scandal came out and all those stuff happening to YG, there was a huge boycott with anything involving YG ent , so you cans say that every YG artists were in a tight spot (still tho) even in this event there were protests from students asking why they invited artists from such a company and so i read some comments saying it's a sabotage but anything can happen during a live performance right? we can't jump into conclusions just like that but ANYWAY it's iKON stage is their home and they just proved it once again. 2021 is for iKON and Hanbin 🧡 #staniKONforclearskin2021

Late comment, but why would you even think that it's sabotage? Technical errors at concerts happen all the time. Those people were paid to work at that venue and something malfunctioned. That's it. Or do you think they would break the expensive machine and the mics on purpose? 45 people even liked your comment. Come on. iKON's staff is also there to supervise. At every little thing certain fans always instantly suspect a group is being sabotaged by whatever company *that's being paid* to have them there.
