Don't sabotage, anger, and underestimate the Unfavorite.

What a cruel woman. Increasing her Unfavorite daughter's suffering and makes sure she has nothing and trying to stop her grandmother (her own mother) from giving her money and then throwing her daughter out her grandmother's house with the clothes on her back. MacKenzie, the daughter, was lucky her mother lets her keep her phone (maybe she didn't know or notice the phone).

Sue your mother for everything she's got.

I would dare the mother to call the cops.

If this story took place in France, then she could just say this to her mother: "Oh ouais? Eh bien, maman, vas-y!"

Legally her mother must return all the money she took from the college fund by the time the she turns twenty-one. She should sue her mother and brother for the money they stole. The mother had the right to manage it but no right to just take it.

Cause of action for taking money from an educational trust is called breach of fiduciary duty.

Uhhhh, that's not right about inheritance. It was not used for intended purposes so op can sue for the return once she turns 21💯 a good lawyer could get an injunction and freeze the $40K till then 💔

I am so sick and tired of these parents, who steal one child college fund to give it to another child for some thing that they always fail at. And especially when the fun was left by a late parent. It is not up to the remaining parent to steal it for somebody else whether it’s a brother or a stepbrother or whatever leave it the hell alone it doesn’t belong to you. Be a smart parent investigates what your golden child says is a sure thing before you ever give them any money that doesn’t really belong to you. Your late husband probably would’ve not had your name put on that account if he thought you were going to give the money away to your son for something stupid. And then you wanted to force your mother into retirement home so you could sell her house and give the money to your lousy son who can’t even do a real job he comes up with these, we can get rich schemes which never pan out but you mortgage your house for him. You really are ridiculous. You have three children treat them all equally. It seems that you never bothered your youngest. You treated her fine and of course your old is the son was treated like a king but your middle daughter, the smart, one who wanted to go to medical school you stole her college fund Are beyond reprehensible you are cruel. And then once your mom passed and she left all her money to her granddaughter, you took her to court for three months to try and get it and what happen you lost everything. Just what you deserved. Trying to say that the OP was trying to turn your mother against you. But that isn’t what happened your own mother saw how you treated your daughter and couldn’t stand it. That’s why she left everything to her granddaughter. And also made it known in the world that you and your son were not to get a dime or anything at all from at the house, the land nothing. The OP’s grandmother also knew that her granddaughter would help taking care of her younger sister. She knew that you never cared about any of your daughters.
