Bit if friendly advice. Take any free PLA included with any printer and toss it straight into the trash. It's ALWAYS garbage. Just toss it and go straight to a quality filament and you'll have a much better experience.
My solution for successfully printing the larger Mando was using a Raft under the feet. Printed it at 125% size with my CR6SE.
Love the video, I kickstarted the CR6 SE and own a few other FDM printers, the CR6 is currently in storage waiting gor parts because the sensors died shortly after I got it. I also have a CR 10 V2, after the inital leveling the CR 10 is a printing beast! I almost gave up after the CR 6 SE as it was supposed to make printing easy. It definitely did not. The fans on the thing got super loud too. I am glad I tried another printer, I am having way more fin with the hobby now!
I've just got myself the Ender 5pro. Bed levelling was tricky but the test prints have come out ok so far. I have an Elegoo as well and that was much easier to figure out. FDM seems to have a steeper learning curve. One of the reasons I bought an Ender was because it has such a large community for support.
I basically came to this conclusion - The CR-6 Is so close to an Ender 3 by the looks and feel (but higher price tag) the bed level is great addition, but yes - VERY steep learning curve
Hello, I want to buy Ender 5 pro. But many people said me "dont buy ender 5 pro, buy a cr-6 se" What do you say about this? Thank you.
I lived in England for 4 years, but learned new term from your Video, “ Faff “ LOL. Thanks for your efforts.
oh Mikey, he didn't discover the tool drawer!!!
Man I was so pissed that I’d recorded most of the video before realising 😂😂
It’s
Mostly because I am a tool
Thanks for the review! Was really useful!
Thanks for the review. Mine gets here in 2 days.
Hope you enjoy it!
I have not one of your Print Errors. All works fine. At the Moment I started my Wall-E Project
I had the same kinid of problem with my Ender 3 pro. That the filament that came with it - produced poor prints. Then I changed to another brand and colour and it printed alot better.
So weird! With Filament - it can be a range of factors - at least it's working!
I had the same problems. Thanks for the help!
Glad it helped!
For the original filament that you couldn't get to stop stringing, try a lower temperature. Should make the filament more viscous and prevent stringing
No, Thank you for the tips ;)
probably late lol but i fixed the blobs by updating the firmware, and it’s also worth going to community firmware which fixes a bunch of issues.
Amazing STL Bundle.
I was really impressed! So much to choose from!
Is 3D printing your own 40k figures legal to play with or would it be like a proxy deck in magic but does this model take polymer like resin? Also what part would you want spears of
Hello friends. I have this printer. When it starts printing, it first prints a thin and long blank line on the left side of the table to fill the space of the leaked filament. I haven't used the printer for a long time, I started using it again the other day, but it goes straight to printing without doing that blank printing thing. I don't understand what happened. I didn't play with the settings. Is that movement in the printer itself or was it done by the slicing program? Can you please help?
I’ve had the CR6-SE for about a week and I get failed prints about 19/20 times. I have almost given up on getting anything good from it. My Ender 3 is just a beauty, but this CR6-SE is a pile. I think I’m going to send it back if I can’t get it to print at least three things in a row without major failures.
Sounds like it’s user error not a machine error
thanks for printing my model, more free models can be found here medelis.se/store.html Enjoy...
Thanks for the tips
Really helpful video, Thanks!
Thanks for the video. New to 3D printing and just set this up yesterday for my daughter although I’m learning too.
I figured so much it doesn’t know to open folders .. what is the solution ? Just trying to start with anything basic. As a newbie I feel there’s lots I don’t know that isn’t obvious and in the instructions.
When feeding the line in .. is this done hot or cold ? What position does the head need to be in ? Is there a setting for it ?
Hey!
Folders: Software update - not sure if they've addressed it yet - Solution : dont have the gcode file in a folder!
Always heat the extruder up when adding/removing filament! and have the extruder anywhere where the filament can escape when you feed it back in!"
15:08 ya!!! holy crap thats quite a process :/ yikes! almost bought this printer and im gonna skip it now
thank you thank you!
3d printing is for people that like to tinker with things. If you are not prepared to pull your machines to pieces from time to time you might as well not buy them
Landmine of a printer. Good for tinkerers.
What version firmware are u running, and did u update it
is the usb/smoking issue fixed?
No issues so far, but this is a retail unit, not a Kickstarter Unt :)
@@HellstormWargaming I bought a retail unit, do you happen to know how the retail units differ from the Kickstarter ones?
Z offset too low
RTFM jeeze
print it on a raft
