@@StagFiesta He didn't leave a server open, this map has it's own unique connectivity that connects players who are also playing the map. Even if the map is hosted in singleplayer

Fun fact his name is Semper he is the third person Gordon Freeman model for hl1 and hl2
@@guy_th18 It's a part of the addon. There's a special script that spawns semper on different maps.

The ghost woman turned into a cone next to the credits board, btw. Your dead NPCs party stopped her, it's something to be considered now.

Miku is just as oldschool, it's just weird for anyone who didn't listen to it since it doesn't sound like the one in game

The mirror effect is impressive. Most people would just have you teleport but I'm pretty sure that they flip most of the rendering and your controls. Especially since when he went in the water he found the controls were inverted that must have been an oversight.
I was clueless when I first played this map. I thought this was just an extended version of The Construct.
Apparently this map has a feature that bleeds into other maps, which is that shadowey model that occasionally appears behind you
some of this map's entities actually followed me into some of my other maps, this addon is freaking haunted but for real.

It's funny seeing this version of construct as a "beta", the construct I played on was way before this version, like before 2010. This map is a great showcase of just how unsettling the source engine is, for some reason

You wanna know something weird? When I played Portal 2 on the PS3 for the first time in like, I don't know 2012 or something, there is a part of the game where you can press on speakers to get pre-recorded announcements from Cave Johnson. But the weird part about that was that it would play the "Oh fiddle sticks, what now." line from Kleiner whenever I pressed it, it would also still play the Cave Johnson line but I never understood why that happened.
I think that that Kleiner line in particular though is supposed to be like an in-engine error message indicator in Portal 2, but I've never seen that happen in that area ever since, so it made for a really weird experience, did make the game more memorable though. (not like it needed any help anyway)
