“the void behind his eyes” That’s exactly what drew me in. It’s the thing that made me believe that my beloved David Tennant could be this monster. It all starts in his eyes. That’s great acting.

You can definitely see the difference between when he's in character and when he's talking as himself. The real David is lovely...and he immediately switches when he becomes a character. He's one of my favorite actors because of it...

Jason Watkins---- A master of his craft. Top-notch.
Brian Masters---- A user of the miseries of others.

Exactly - Masters is a chancer who tries to elevate himself by rubbing up to those famous (unfortunately) others.

I don't understand why they had to identify the victims to charge him. Can't you say John Doe #1, John Doe #2?

      1. To clear up missing person cases.
      2. So next of kin can be informed
      3. So it would be easier to convince a jury that a loved person was murdered.
But you do not need a name of a person to charge them, it just makes it easier.

@@FluffyButtSheep They kept saying they had to identify the victims in order to press charges. Yes, you want to identify the victims for those three reasons you gave. Absolutely. But why would it be necessary to know that this is Fred Smith rather than John Doe #3 to pursue the case?

I just wish they'd stop badmouthing people who get into this because of the sensational aspects. Finding serial homicide fascinating is not inherently callous.

    • @evapunk522

I watch a ton of true crime and have trouble sleeping sometimes because of it, but that doesn't mean that I stop because it truly is THAT fascinating. It's hard to explain but the psychology of a killer is interesting, you just have to also make sure you don't forget about the victims and really empathize with them and their families. If you don't do that as well, that's when I would worry about why someone is watching true crime...
