      You should do some yoga or something, you’re far behind from a filmmaker channel to appreciate the time that he’s putting to explain and help us. Go and do your meditation. Just leave your stupid comments away. Geez 🙄

      @@BIGOKEITH Yeah that's a bit of a stinker, I luckily upgraded my Macbook Pro earlier in 2020 (My 2011 machine would've exploded). But even this laptop struggles a bit editing with the 4k footage. Manageable in Prem Pro if you drop all your workflow resolutions though \m/

    I do really like the videos. Since I’m on vacation I actually have been using Timelapse video a lot and that 4:3 format allows me to capture effectively 12MP photos so the cropping in 4K works very well with that! 👍🏻

    Thanks I just got the 9 for use with my fpv quad, but i've been impressed with how well it works even outside the compromise of 'best image quality that my 5 inch quad can carry.'
    I will now also be using it as a b cam for interesting extra shots when I'm working with my main camera (a mirrorless with a big lens) and ofc for action shots like skateboarding!
    This video helped me understand what creative options I have with the timelapse modes!

    Do you have a video that shows how battery life is impacted by the duration of the time-lapse?
    I am hoping the longer the time interval, the longer the GoPro can run with the existing battery.
    That is, perhaps getting two hours of video time instead of the standard one hour.

    Any suggestions or tweaks regarding a time lapse of a construction of a community house in Stockholm, Sweden (Nordic sun, light and sky differs from, let’s say the same project at the equator) during the course of now (well, a day from now) through end of May? I want to end up with about a minute video, so I’m thinking a picture every 5 minute would suffice. But the rest of the settings? Thoughts or ideas? Will it all fit in a 512 GB card using raw format, since you get a jpg as well?

    • @MountMediaChannel

      Yes you can get nice results. The night lapse mode will prefer longer exposures and will probably apply some noise reduction. I think it's the better choice

      @@MountMediaChannel but what's your recommendation for sunrise? I want that the time laps starts with the black night (like it is) and getting brighter with the rising sun.

    • @wernerplank6197
      @wernerplank6197 3 роки тому

      @@Schwermetall If you want to really start with the black night, then yes. It's easier with the sunset. In that case you can use the exposure control to fix the exposure.

    Hey there, just wanted to ask... today i made a sunrise timelapse video and after that i got worried if it couldn't be dangerous for the camera(hero 7 black) sensor. The sun shone directly into the lens for about 13-17 minutes(of recording) from the entire 50 minutes of the timelapse. After that i did some test photos and videos and the image seems fine. Am i just paranoid or could it be dangerous? Or is it ok because the sun is not as bright in the morning? Thx for your reply. Your videos are helpful.
