- Title: The Fool's Suite (Parts I-III)
Original Track: The Beatles - The Fool on the Hill
Original Composers: John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Denny Laine, Richard Starkey, Linda McCartney, Kazunori Itō, Mariya Takeuchi, Anri
Arrangers: PsyAlola, Monochrome
This one's a pretty special arrangement - Psy had a vision for this track and asked me to produce Part II of it. So I produced the middle section of this track (the bulk of the track) and stitched Psy's Parts I and III at the beginning and end. The result is this ethereal combination of ambient pieces and folk pop. For my part, I really enjoyed getting to involve myself deeply in the arrangement process. I took great care in making my VSTs have a more authentic sound, primarily by live recording the MIDI and editing the velocities to my liking. Psy's ambient intro and outro enhances the immersion of the track a great deal as well. I think with the resources I have now, I could definitely improve on this a lot, but I like the track as it is.

Still as beautiful as the day I heard it. You guys did great ❤
Excellent example of how THE ARRANGEMENT AND INSTRUMENTATION
is everything ‼️🤍
Too much going on . . . too busy. Prefer the original.
Not very good, too long intro, doesn't got that Beatles feel
i like it
Some nice touches💪
A little on the anodyne indie side but overall a good effort. Not so sure about the drum arrangement or the need for guitars and drums.
respect the criticism, the drums and guitars were incorporated out of a desire to draw distinction between the original and the arrangement, while hopefully punching up emotions as well. admittedly i'm a beatles neophyte though so it may not work for actual fans of their music
@@MediaMonochrome It's a fairly different take on the song, I wasn't expecting it.
Can't believe you dropped a Beatles remix and I didn't see it til a month later????
This is so cool
lmao ur the best
You should have added....and I did a terrible job.
