Great lesson HP. I enjoy the more challenging jazz tunes now, and appreciate the work you've put into it! For the solo, the F Harmonic minor works perfectly over most of the chord changes and gives it a nice flavour, dialling up the darker jazz tones a touch.
Hey Andrew, yes there will be more challenging jazz tunes coming. Yes F harmonic minor works perfect over the whole tune. Maybe also try F melodic minor on the A section. Give kind of an altered vibe to it.
Kenny Burrell was my introduction to jazz guitar and the most satisfying player from that generation still. Duke Ellington's favorite guitarist apparently. nice one HP!

Great tip, thanks HP

Hey Edward, yes Kenny Burrell in fact was a great player and no wonder Duke Ellington had him in his orchestra.
great tutorial! Amp and settings for the tone?
Thanks Andrea - don't remember but I guess I used a Vibra King amp with gain on max. 5 and a 2*12 cabinet.
