What position does this leave us in? Not hard to learn but then we are stuck there, not in any of the other videos as far as we can tell!

Ahhh great point. You can wrap back in to sweetheart position (:57 mark of this video: ua-cam.com/video/06x2rwo_Qd4/v-deo.html) by taking the leaders hand inside to the followers right shoulder.
On the note of progressive learning... we're putting the finishing touches on a complete syllabus for country dancers that will walk everyone through each move step by step leaving no stone unturned!
