I disagree with your assessment of Bel’s early game power. Although Riot intended for her to be a full clear champion, Bel actually excels in her early game. Hard CC with W, multiple dashes with Q + Q reset when W lands , E is reduced damage + low health execute. Her early skirmishes and cheese level 2 or 3 invades are actually the best way to play the champion.
The biggest problem with Bel is her extremely unhealthy clear, for this reason you run either Conq for early game skirmishing or Fleet Footwork for the utility, I recommend the Fleet build with Celerity and Waterwalking in the secondary tree for better objective control early for your rift and dragon skirmishes. The utility Fleet provides is very noticeable in her 1-5 which is her most important stage since your game plan on Bel is getting a lane ahead + early snowball against enemy jungle. With Fleet you can usually do a standard 3 camp into gank with 85% health, which is more than healthy enough to gank any lane.

Yup bel is really strong early. That's why you almost always build conq + domination for bel for snowball. Sometimes i go second resolve if my team isn't tanky with over growth and conditioning. I excel at early game ganks with her so I just need tankiness so that i can teamfight better. I think fleet is pointless cause bel has decent sustain with her e
It’s because you are squishy and you don’t do enough damage to make up for it. Trust me, she is not much of a ganker at all. If you compare her to real early gankers, it’d pretty clear.
@@zat1245 early skirmishing is even better on Bel this patch because she got Q buffs in 13.9 and is back to bruiser items with a lot more resistance and HP pool as of the item changes from 13.10. You can safely draft Bel blind just ban Kindred or Nidalee since they will out-pace you early end can 1v1 outplay you with dashes and range. For runes I still like the MS build with Fleet primary and Celerity Waterwalking secondary for early scuttle fights, Bel’s damage is underestimated, just try to get a good feel for her E execute timing and make sure you’re saving it for the last possible moment to secure the kill. Also Flash + E to execute and W + Flash to lane the hard CC are both underutilized combos.
@@SomberSora None of that affects that she’s too squishy, doesn’t have enough crowd control, and doesn’t have enough burst in the early game to compete with early gankers who have at least one or even all of those. Ganking should NOT be your priority. She is a scaling jungler. Just like all scaling champs in this game in every other role, the early game should be full of avoiding risks and being patient for your mid and late spike.
I don't think bv's ganks are bad
Ive seen videos from challenger bv mains and they very often go for lvl 2 cheeses cause the cc of the w combined with the chase potential of the q is sooo strong..

In your second game, in light of the enemy high CC why did you go with Alacrity instead of Tenacity? What are the determining factors you consider when you make that decision (Alacrity, Tenacity, Bloodline)?
A lot of the CC were knockups and those don't count. I'm guessing Alacrity is pretty important just in general
I take alaricity if there's no cc but I just want to stack as much speed as I can. Then I take bloodline if I want to scale hard with the E and sustain. Tenacity is more for the hard cc and not knock up since it doesn't effect that

I love you vids! I think you are shutting on bel a little too hard saying that she is a master to wanna be. I have main yi, and he can do a lot even with invades, but his 1v1s are no where near bel’s. Yi also can’t clear raps in one cycle of Q and then steal the enemy’s gromp and kill the jungler on it. Her invades are some of the strongest in the game and her ganks are leagues over Yi. You got a lot right on her, and your league knowledge is second to none - but you didn’t see how absolutely insane she is when you play her aggressive right from the start. It’s easy to get distracted by the early game because she is also an infinite scaler.
This is the one time I would disagree with you... Bel'veth early ganks are actually very good and a great champ to one trick.
True. She's a beast at team fights and a ganker.
She literally has a dash, cc with dash reset, and an execute e that blocks a hell ton of damage. Miles better than YI when compared because of the util she provides.

Yeah, I main Bel veth and feel like Lethal is way better, but it's really just for early game, I always go for the 1v9 potential lol, but yeah conqueror is perfect for early.
@@BusyCapybara and how is the typical build that you made?, Because when play with bel veth, I like to use all the items that have life steal, and in the end I have, 45%, of life steal, and when i activate the E, and have 65% of life steal, and i recover all my life, and a shield, because y use the rune, overheal, and the item bloodthirster.
@@zeko_bite2880 I build Bork to kraken, then boots, depending on the comp I go dd or maw or maybe both and last blood and rage blade. (if I go both I remove rage blade)

not to discredit or anything you did a good job at explaining the champion basics, but your pathing aren't optimal and your analysis on belveth gank is slightly wrong ( in this game ganking morde is actually very dangerous since he has a huge shield and nocturne pathing is the same as yours so he could full clear earlier and wait in the bush to counter gank or caught you surprise - since u don't use flash, also you should keep 1 smite after full clear and use potion so if you get to the crab first you can instant clear without facing nocturne and you should gank ziggs instead to burn his flash). I think this game is very clumsy on the opponent site and I don't really know what the rank is. And it's true that Yi overall will not lose to belveth ever! in an actual game at any point in the game - if you don't lane the w you lose ( but if you are similarly built then if u caught yi by surprise with your w you can definitely win ) but in an 5v5 games it's actually very hard to say which champions is better because belveth actually have an insane backdoor push if you play the champion long enough. Nevertheless I don't want to discredit you or anything is just that I played this champion for a year long so there's some points that could very much be utilize in this game

you have to make your map appear on the left, the runes menu will automatically open on the right side then

belveth is pretty weak after full clear, you should try to gank after three camp if possible instead
2:56 this is the reason why bel is so bad, cant 2v2 early (squishy) and almost always dies if anything goes wrong early, if she dies there gg and all lanes will flame u, If u have winning lanes and pushing then only u can play it imo, she also does no dmg to tanks, dies if they have thornnail
Much rather fight a belveth than a Yi. Least she doesn't go intangible every 2 seconds
Not sure why you are continiously compairing her with Yi, at least in the current patch (and a couple before this one) she is definetly stronger then Yi (she has been A or S tier almost consistantly). Also I feel you need way more skill for Bel'Veth then Yi..
I feel like bel is so much better than yi in every way also I feel like you don’t know how to play her really, she’s probably her strongest early to mid game lvl 3 ganks are so free the w slow and knock up is so much value I think her one major down side is just her clear is weak and is prone to invades but lvl 1 is so good q so much dmg lvl 1 and if ur atleast 3 the out play potential is really especially with e dmg reduce and execute I feel like people take the scaling portion of her to much her ganks are so good u just q around them and Auto and bait flash into w and then just e when low it’s honestly to good but idk
