  • heres another quick addition to the workshop..a quick and simple welding aid that can really help take the strain off you .

      @@MakeItMetal i paint just about all of my stuff i make for myself orange lol. I call it "so my dumb ass doesn't trip over it" orange.

      i'm thinking of painting all my kit and plant in this orange paint too. it just looks nice and uniformed if its all done the same :)

    Now if you could just come up with one that would make welding 2004 transits more comfortable I'd be the first customer..🤣 That's a great idea though for those benchtop welds and make those longer runs much less stressful on the joints. 👍 That TIG unit looks like tasty bit of kit Jason!

      yuk...i refuse to weld cars (especially transits) anymore..my back just isnt made for that. god bless you for welding them Huey!
      the tig is a water cooled R-Tech ACDC 251 and i love it (though its quite old now)

    Is that a 'lean on me'? Paint does add a bit of flare to be sure.

      Hey..no need to apologize..it is a device to aid Tig welding..it provides a solid rest for the welder's arms/hands while welding long runs or when using a weld positioned.

      @@MakeItMetal Thanks, I saw at the end of the video, he worked as an installer of technological pipelines, but I have never met such a thing, our welders rarely use auxiliary things that facilitate work.
