Hey guys, after the D-30 and the J26, we flew out the D-5 just to check the rudder issue a bit. And had a fantastic match with very good teamwork. if you want to fly a 4.3 mustang, you should use the d10 if you own it, i think it's the best mustang at that br and it was only recently lowered from 4.7 br. it's basically the same as the d20 and d5, but has more horsepower at low alt. d5 and d20 can reach 594km/h at sea level while the d10 can hit 613km/h.

Just want to thank you for your videos. The things I learn watching them have definitely made me a better pilot. I find myself going into dogfights more confident, and have started getting better at reading the energy state of my opponents. Hats off to you sir!

P-51 d-5 is one of those planes you gotta be in the mood to play. Very capable fighter, but very rigid in how it plays.
I’d tend to agree, the P51D’s are like a woman, fly them the right way and you have an force to reckon with, treat them without understanding them you’re in for a bad time.

@@tommylakasi3022 Hi Tommy heres what how I'm playin it, athough Jengar woud be able make assessment as hes flown them longer and ina much more disciplied way: But heirs strategy with the p-51.
- Speed is king for the 5-51
-maneuverability i definitely not its strong point, although it has a decent roll rate.
Gain altitude and pick target don't be drawn into a fur ball that's 100% death wish.
So in summary:
Pick your fights stay high
When you have a target sorted make one epass if you don't get him (remember hes probably kept an eye on you on the mimimap, he deserved to live don turn and make a second pass the P-51 looses speed I'll you'll be sitting dauck. Use the seed(energy) you build to to gain altitude again Go back to step one.
Its basic strategy but the idea to get an idea of what p-51 is capable of how adjust your fly style to suit. As with any fighter in WT,

d-30 is way better
If you want a 4.3 br mustang, consider buying the d10 when it goes on sale. It's the same as the d20 and the d5, except that it has even more horsepower at low alt.

@Jengar I just watched your defensive flying video and I tried using my mouse for camera control.

Can you please give your key bindings ?
I'm not Jengar, but I'm one of his squadron members. Anyway, typically for defensive flying we use C key for looking backward and keyboard binds or side mouse binds for the elevator up/down and roll as A/D so we can dogfight while looking behind to counter roll them. It's a lot harder to explain with words and a lot easier to just show. Some of my montages show me doing it. Check them out if you want ;)

Once you start maneuvering with the keyboard you can just use the mouse fully for camara control, you dont need the C key at that point. you got to practice this in test flight first. Spend some hours in there before going into matches.

Love the .50 cal guns on these planes. Perfect balance between hard hitting high caliber rounds that aren't low velocity cannons and not low damage 7mm MG salt shakers. In warthunder they're more like flamethrowers tho.
true, 50 cals are fine armament when they come in six or eight!

Pretty nice facing off with a WHOLE squadron there, pity one comedian was in the 109 - F1 otherwise you might have had a bit more aerial administration to do.
Next 4 man squad should be in the FW190 - A5/U2 (4.3 BR) .. wink wink, nudge nudge...

I wish realistic games were like this today, now everyone climbs to only a minimal altitude and everybody just dives down and by the time i get to 4000m everybody is killing eachother
there's still plenty of ppl that climb, but yeah, ass to the grass is a thing with this 25 min timer.

I play around the same rb, play on all servers and somehow I haven't been in a match that has a single plane that flies the same altitude that the players in your game did

14:09, if you avoid getting within firing range, head-ons are probably the most reliable way to bait enemies vertical for your teammates. A risk to be sure, but the enemy knows this too and may not take any other bait. Also a reasonable gamble if he is the last alive(since, once again, you have at least one other teammate)

as your squadron is open for applications I would be interested to join. I meet the criteria set. Since there is no Discord server or any kind of contact given, how can I apply for membership?
there should be a discord link in there, at the bottom ;) otherwise just apply and we'll get you in.
apply ingame, look for =NmY= Unrivaled
"I don't even know what I've been doing this game. I'm just holding down W". That's part of the pain I feel with Stangs, Corsairs and Tbolts but at least they let you set WEP to toggle. With Mustangs you get the extra chore of fighting heat as well. No thanks.
use MEC and open radiators to 100%, they cause almost no drag on the mustang.
just use MEC and set both rads to 100% the drop in performance is almost none
And if you dont use MEC you just have to magage it a bit. So remove your finger from W sometimes, or whatever other key you bound it to. I have it on left-shift.
In your Swedish rank 3 video you asked us to find weaknesses in the b18 I found one there is no admired glass protecting the pilot making head one out of the question every vehicle has at least one flaw it’s like saying that spitfire mood 24 g55s bearcats and any other jack of all trades master of all trades are perfect when they’re not g55s are bad in the vertical which means you can bait it into an upward spiral and take it out
minor weakness that, no bulletproof glass.
@@jengar6258 also please don't present any aircraft like it's a wonder weapon as by you telling the viewers that it would be that very mentality that would get them killed players think it's invulnerable play like it's invulnerable and then get shot down on the back of that mindset all the time additionally everything it can do can be done better by some other plane
Lol @ 1 round left. I once had only 12 rounds left in a ki27 and actually managed to get a kill with that final burst

Jengar I’d be more pissed about the game that it “could” have been. It’s always gonna happen so it doesn’t even bother me anymore. I’m used to the behaviour at this point.

I hate grinding through new planes. Usually you get put with people who have already spaded their plane and you just get boom and zoomed every time because u have no mods researched.
with stock planes you need to play a bit more conservative, but you can do well using it as a support plane.

It seems that the P51 is incredibly slow to turn. Much slower than the Mig 3 15.
they rival each other, but p-51 turns well when fast.

U guys climbed to 9000 meters!!! The highest I’ve been was only 8000 meters to kill a stupid bomber
